as long as that wick is unsealed it'll leak like a sieve. It's like leaving a zippo open. I'd hazard a guess at it being empty in less than week even if you don't use it.

With those cheap china lighters the flint goes before the gas I tossed many of those out with them almost filled with gas because they don't put enough flint in them

This is terrible since the flint would run out and you cannot replace it. Also you use alcohol? How do you stop fluid leak? Bad idea.

this was really useful advice no i don't need to carry pockets anymore becouse it doesn't even fit there so now when i need to lighr my cigaret up i don't have to take a small lighter out of my pocket becouse now i carry a backbag where is my lighter and a bottle of ethanol so tanks m8 this was really useful.

A more suitable title for this video would be "Convert a Gas Lighter to a liquid fuel lighter". I can't imagine one of these is any more unsafe than a Zippo lighter besides the possibility of the plastic melting, which shouldn't be a big issue since the flame burns away from the plastic.

1. you can't close it, so the fuel will evaporate very fast 2. the flame will melt the plastic fastening of the lighter, and it will break soon this video sucks
