Okay last question. Are you using a #2 stamp?
How do you protect the paint (blue dots) from wearing off? I see it's a water-based paint, so it will easily dissolve if the sheath gets wet, am I right?

After it has been painted It is sealed with a protective coating which prevents moisture from getting to the paint.

Any brand of contact cement works great.
Hi B.Bros. Can you tell me the brand and product name of the paint pen that you used please?
So the extra leather in between is like a spacer? To keep from cutting the thread or am I missing something? Very nice finish project i like it

You're correct, on straight knives it prevents the blade from cutting the stitches.

Is the welt generally thinner leather ? I’m making a pancake out of 8 oz leather, front and back. Would I want to add a thin piece of 4oz in between the two ?
Where did you get the saddler's groover? C.S.Osborne makes a pricey one. I'd like to find one I can afford. Thanks for the video!

Wow! This3 are some damn fine looking tools. Interesting contrast in the affordable alternatives offered as well. And some tools priced below the usual market price point. Think I’m going to order one of those tight corner edgers to try them out. Thanks for sharing!

That was an elk ridge. I don't believe they make those anymore.
