got any tips on what to do if the damn thing won't move? I've gotten my milk steaming down to a decent level, but most of the time when I pour a heart it just doesn't want to move forward, the blob stays in one place and never grows so I get a hilariously tiny circle in my cup

How can I get my cream to even do that? I don’t have an espresso machine. I just have a hand held frother and a regular coffee machine where you put in coffee grounds and water, then pour it into your cup when it’s done. What’s the best method for that (if even possible!)? I’m on a keto diet and can’t use whole milk. I can only have half and half, heavy whipping cream, or unsweetened almond milk. That’s all :( If it’s possible with any of those options and without an espresso machine, I’d appreciate it!!! If I need whole milk, I can just practice and give it to my dad, and not drink any until my diets over!

@Johanna Appleforest You can definitely use almond milk for this! Just use about 125 mL and heat it in the microwave till it's boiling. It should be able to be frothed from there.

Ok so I’m running into a problem all the time it doesn’t even really stay on the top like that it just makes a small pool compared to that bigger pool on top what am I doing wrong

Can anybody help me? I'm trying to do this, but milk just stays in one place instead of going down when I try to make any picture, so it becomes just one big circle. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for this. I can finally get the crema right and the circular motion of milk to soften it - but then the rest of the milk is either too thin or too thick with the microfoam to make a shape - how do i please get the microfoam right? 🤎🤍
