    Nice video. It is easier if you first coat the inside of your fibreglass in resin, or apply a coat of resin on the item...then press in your fibreglass, then wet the outside...working with a dry sheet like you do takes more time and you are more likely to struggle with bubbles en air pockets.

    Why do you rub castor oil on tbe statue first? Will this help the release of the latex.. Or another reason

    Yes it serves as a release agent.

    hello. for fiberglass mother mold insted of using resin, can we mix fiberglass with latex (same material of latex mold).?

    i saw the video that said we do not use oil with latex becuase can damage the latex. he said it;s better to mix castor oil with rubbing alcohol). does oil damaged latex for long time? thanks

    Don't use petroleum based products. Casteroil with rubbing alcohol is the best.

    Hi. Not knocking but you don't need to put release agent on before latex. Only before fibreglass

    Hi, I've tried both process and it doesn't make any difference. It's actually how you preferred it.

    ‼️This should not be done in direct sun light, this is the quickest way to degrade latex ‼️

    Thanks for your concern, but I didn't do this in direct sun light as I know the effect of it. It was actually a nice cool weather season when I did this project.
