Catherine S. Todd. Madam, this no art, only engineering and mathematical curves. Mathematical curves create different emotions and these include monotony, gentleness, excitation, aggressiveness. The intention behind a shape is brought through the use of the right mathematical curve. All items which we call artistic lose all their art once they are isolated at a distance and unseen by human sensors, but even at a distance and in the dark all that remains in artistic items is their engineering support structure. The artistic motions are not included in the item placed before an observer, but it is the observer's own mind related to his background which creates his emotion. Any item in art galleries is pure engineering and the art is the drugged emotions that are created when a human looks at an engineering or geometrical line that contains particular curves. My studies indicate the following. Straight lines project monotony, circles projet gentleness, reverse curves as curls project excitement, and sharp points project aggressiveness. Again, there is no art, only mathematics, geometry, and engineering.

@@carmelpule6954 The definition of art doesn't exist because it is entwined with the definition of consciousness. Consciousness cannot be defined and so spirituality and psychoanalysis and philosophy tried to colour in the surrounding areas. I don't think they'll ever be correct, at least in my lifetime, but to say that art simply doesn't exist and all of reality can be reduced to Positivism is... weird. Hope all's going well with you - who is your favourite engineer?
