I like the idea of packing tape for the spine. I never thought of that.
Again, you give very good and precise instructions! You make it seem so simple! I love everything about this book and the pages and the binding! Can't wait to make one! TFS
Love this idea, so simple. Double sided tape is a great invention. Staples, easy accessible products. Thank you for showing this wonderful creative journal.

Ingenious! Looks very clean and neat.
What a fantastic idea love that tool that you use it is so handy
I just LOVE this tutorial! It's much easier to make a journal from scratch this way and I'm definitely going to try it. Thank you so much for sharing 💕
I would suggest a book binder's cradle for this Trying to pumch holes with an awl into the signature, the then trying to get the same holes to perfectly line up with the spine chipboard.... yea, you need to be so precise to get a staple to line up with the holes enough that you can punch down the feet into the chipboard bottom. Also, use a deeper staple so the legs really extend into the back side of the signature. Interesting concept. Still easier than sewing the signature into the spine for sur.
This is amazing! I always wanted to make a journal that did not have stitching or glued pages, and this tutorial is awesome and so simple :) Thank you so much, Tinne, definitely will be trying this!! ♥♥

Happy Day to you too Tinne. That journal is adorable and I love how you decorated the outside. I think I want to make myself one as a Reading Journal to go with my Bible (KJV). I am going to make mine a TN Standard size and I just know it will be so useful to me for my reading.I am going to use some lovely paper that I bought from you a while ago and use the little journal sheets that you custom did for me so long ago. So thank YOU!

WONDERFUL PRESENTATION! THANK YOU! I am so happy to find your chanel. I see many of people who doing craft has that beautiful place-mat, can you, please give me link where I can find it?
I loved this easy hate the sew lol thanks
Thank you.
I think I would like to glue a ribbon or fabric strip over staple ends at center as well... Could help and would be attractive... Sorry if I am 86th person with this idea. Just now saw vid and have not read earlier comments
Thank you! That is a great alternative to sewing! I wonder if it would still open and close properly if you glued the first and last pages to the covers? You probably for sure could glue a page onto the covers that overlapped the spine board up to the first (or last) signature, do you think??

I'm not sure if that would work. I tried using one page to cover the inside, but that didn't turn out well with the opening and the closing of the cover.
Crafting is so soothing? Really? Then either she or I is doing something wrong! Because crafting is anything but soothing to me!:-) :-)
You just made my life a whole lot easier! Thank you!
