Another great project, well done. It would be great to see how much this hydraulic jack was actually lifting, by putting some scales underneath the bricks and lowering it down.

Curious about how heavy the bricks lifted were... I have seen some KZreadr pull a car with a 100% 3D printed winch, aside from like a 775 motor used to drive it and figure the lifting capability of this might be decent for use in small projects... Plus, as others said, you could make it out of metal since the base instructions are there. I remember learning how people would use these kinds of jacks, albeit commercial ones, to lift houses that needed to be releveled.

Normally, when I see these videos I expect something stupid but this was actually pretty cool man. While I do not expect much load capacity from that jack it seems to be functional and if you could get your hands on seamless iron pipes you could make one with a significantly higher capacity. Alternatively, if you have access to even a small metal lathe and a small high speed rotary tool (everyone often calls it a Dremel) you could buy pipe that have the weld bead on the inside. The carefully grind as close to the inside wall as possible for your two cylinder walls and then take a few light passes with it on the lathe. You already machined the needle valve and other small parts and tolerances do not have to be perfect if you have rubber o rings to accommodate for deviation.

A bit of JB weld might actually be better to keep with a gluing-together theme... it isn't as good as a weld imo, but in most applications, it will do just fine. Curious if it would cause issues with the hydraulic fluid though

It's a quick-drying adhesive that's based on Methylene chloride.

That's HIGHLY impressive, my man can basically fabricate anything he needs with super glue and PVC, even custom fabricating his own hardware....what's even MORE impressive is how he can manage to use copious amounts of super glue without having his fingers glued together every 5 seconds!

I think we have found a superglue bender! although I love superglue (even for stitching wounds), it always gets to the fingers when it is not needed there (I used once a small bottle to stop a cut from a broken dish, and then the darn thing wouldn't stick to the wounded finger!

This is really dangerous. Someone who doesn't understand how hydraulics work is going to copy you and try to lift their car. Then the jack explodes, the car drops, and they get injured or killed.
