How to Make a Horizontal Design - Long and Low Table Arrangement - Wedding Table Arrangement
Today I'm revisiting the Horizontal design, more commonly known as a long and low or table centre arrangement. I first looked at this arrangement in t my 'Back to Basics' series which aims to teach the basic design shapes in traditional flower arranging/floristry. In this video I teach you about the Horizontal design using just one type of fresh flower along with a transitional flower and contrasting foliage and guide you step-by-step from start to finish. This time the design is less formal using just a pretty spray rose to create a design to sit on the front of the bride and groom at their wedding
Look back at the 'Back to Basics' series is ideal for beginners looking to train as a florist or start a new hobby with arranging flowers. These tutorial videos are also suitable for intermediate arrangers looking to update their skills.

Hi Sharon. Really like your designs and your tutoring is brilliant ; teaching about little technicalities and so on which only an expert can do. So thank you for this as I'm a florist in training in South Africa. This specific design, any possibility you could supply a recipe? Amount of stems used and so on...just as an idea. We of course need to purchase in bunches. if you are able to, thanks so much for a great show!

Hi Crystal, this arrangement is in a flat, plastic tray - nothing fancy needed for this type of design
