I'm such a noob at this but you make great videos! If i have a brand new Ruckus would I have to change the variator as well as the sliders or would just the sliders be good enough?

Do you just unplug the blue wire to do a data reset and plug back in when done with no ill effects to brain unit?

How would it work on 2003 Metropolitan? Variators wore out and replaced them with same weight but now 10 mph slower, have any ideals on it?

Iv got a 2009 met do they have a variator restrictor washer?

Will it go faster with 5 gram sliders or will it go the same speed as having 5.5 gram sliders?

if I replace my air filter with a power air filter where should I place the crankcase ventilation? Its for an yamaha zuma

put a filter on it or run an open oil catch can with a filter on top. I would run the catch can personally. My 150 gy6 (under 100 hours and doesn't burn a drop of oil) likes to spit oil out of the crankcase vent. I've tried the goofy vent on the dipstick tube and everything.

What does this do to fuel economy? I delivery takeout and really like the 110 mpg on the 2022 honda ruckus.

It will make it even better. The strong spark burns the fuel completely unlike the stock ignition

Do you need to run higher octane fuel with the advanced timing?

With all I have done to my 2017 kymco agility 50,i get 45 mph up and down small slops. I love my lil' agility

@@maxoelling4578 Look at this guy he doesn't wanna let you in on his speed secrets,good for him cuz I wouldn't let you know either but anyways I used ta have a Kymco Bet&Win150cc & Kymco's are great scooters but now I have the badass monster truck looking Honda Ruckus the best in the world!

The metro link you left leads me to your shopify sign in for your shop. my 02 kinroad buggy with uni filter, a12 cam, 28mm carb, intake spacer, 12 gram sliders, 115 face variator, and 1 inch exhaust with a supertrap muffler comfy does 37. I can make it bounce 40/41 on the gps but it's crying and bouncing off the rev limiter, lol.

I have one of these scooters, the same scope model that can easily travel 65 kilometers

Just got a pair in for out Ruckus and Metro! The Metro one has an adjustment dial on the bottom, that we aren't about to mess with, whats that all about?

Sweet! This is a new feature. This will adjust the timing. Set the dial to 7..... you are gonna love it! Or just play with it.

@@RollingWrench Neat! Thanks! Is there a kind of standard on them? Like would zero be the same as a regular one or something like 5-7ish? Either way, colder plug and high octane I assume are recommended if we're messing with that? at least that's what we'd assume, and are doing just anyways to help prevent detonation.

@@Lpokie You don’t need to worry. It’s not aggressive enough to cause any damage. 7 is equivalent to the one with no knob. Play with it and see what you like best :-)

@@RollingWrench that's awesome, thanks so much for answering! My Ruckus ran awesome with the non adjustable model after installing them tonight. I let my wife know and she appreciates the info, she'll have the Metro apart again and adjusted for the weekend.

If the model is a CHF50P, it's rated for 25 mph, but the CHF50 is manufactured at 40 mph. I'm trying to figure out how to increase the speed for mine as well, but there are no videos out for the 2003 or 2002-2009 Honda Metro's concerning the models CHF50P, which are limited to 25mph.

You have a block off plate in the intake manifold and you have a 8k rev limiter

same here with my 2015 Metro... bummed when the 2016 came out and I would have waited to buy new. My 2015 tops out at 32 mph going down hill. The kit sells at $700 ... how the heck can you afford that?

It looks like you were still gaining speed without the cdi but you just let off the throttle 😂 also you were definitely at least hitting 40 without it

I agree. I watched it a second time and kept an eye on the seconds of each trial. Throttle was held 10-20 seconds longer in second trial. It’s a shame that the test is “questionable” because the product might be good??

That’s sort of what happens when you hit a limiter. Engines got more to give but brain won’t let it.
