Kryz’s acting in every Slater’s video is one of the things I look forward in this channel. 😍 Best actress talaga si Kryz. 💕
1. corners and edges must be straight 2. an oversized door (added 1foot for height 8 inches for width) allows for a classier look 3. grain matching so it would look like one singular piece 4. buy a proper tile leveler so there would be no lippage in the tiles 5. for greater emphasis, add accents when transitioning from one element to another (wall (shadow gap), floors, etc.) 6. designer type outlets makes a difference 7. a sleek and architectural type of shower/floor drain 8. add both warm lighting (for coziness) and cool lighting (for doing something important at night)

I agree on door height, especially if you have high ceiling. Pangit tingnan kapag low in height yung door. But husband said if the door gets damaged though very rare naman, for fabrication pa yung door.

Oh my gosh. Nangopya na lang sana ako. Nagpause pause pa ako haha!!!
When Slater was talking about the straightness of the walls and has one picture frame na tabingi. I was about to say it out loud then he fixed it for me. Hahahaha good trick

Same!
I love it that we can easily access to information like this. Especially for us na walang alam sa engineering/ architectural stuff. Thanks for this! It helps a lot!
After I watched this vlog, I immediately visited the wall of our house just to see if there was any wavy detail hahahaha and even our countertop! I super love watching Miss Kryz's vlog and yours too recently and I super enjoy it!
*Kryz's acting is what sells every talking point here.* 🤣
I like your ideas of giving importance to very small details because this small details really affects the entire spectrum. We’re basically the same in this area and also the lightings. My husband and I argued about having too much light in our house but it does matter since it adds the cozy ambiance. Looking forward to more informative vlogs!
Good suggestions. Attention to detail is vital to making most projects aesthetically pleasing, which affects your mood to a degree. Attention to details can also make your life easier concerning functionality. Always weigh the functionality against the aesthetics and elect function over form to simplify your life and save on maintanence and repairs. Best to plan ahead for aging if you intend to stay in your house for a lifetime. Make certain all doors are at least 36 inches wide = 91.44 cm = 914.4 mm. Be certain your CR=bathroom/shower is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair and have a roll in shower. You never know when an accident/stroke or disease will take away your mobility. Best to avoid shadow trimming, especially on the floors as they collect dust and dirt and are a pain in the neck to keep clean. Make and keep your household cleaning tasks simple and straight forward. The less the better. Laundry area should also be wheelchair accessible. Time and money saved in repairs, maintainence and cleaning is time freed up for enjoyment and money in your pocket. Be well.

I agree with you. For example, when we built our house, all our doors, even those for bathrooms have the same height of 2.4 mtrs and width of 1 mtr, floors are continuously flat, even from hallway to bathrooms and within the bathrooms, we have a ramp fr service gate entrance to main door. All these are in consideration of using a wheelchair in the future.
Grabe ung heart ni kuya slater kahit civil engr sya may heart sya nang pagiging archi grabe.
Ang galing nung u tilted the frame a bit to test the eyes of the audience. Great job!
Daghang salamat Slater. Currently building our house nasa initial stages na and these are very very helpful👍 Labi na tong sa warm light og sa oversized door!
Thank you slater, another very informative episode.
First time to watch your video Slater and I can say that I love the way you share your observations and recommendations! It was so natural and humble and now I'm one of your subscribers! Hahhahah!! Keep it up! :)
Eye opener... I can see clearly now those little details that means alot.
Salamat sa mga tips and info slater, your house is beautiful lalo na ang wall paint, pls make an episode on what pain to choose sa pag color ng walls. Love them walls bro very artsy
Thanks for the tips Slater. Meanwhile, Kryz's acting is so cute 😊
I'm just like you, very detailed, but sometimes I get tired of it and wished that I could just live through life in my house without being so obsess about it. My house was constructed 10 years ago and I have the same ideas as you, like the bathroom drains, ceiling height, perfect tile layout, mood lighting, etc etc and still today I'm looking at the all the failed details in my house. I'm having dinner and I'm looking at the wall thinking maybe it is not so straight and I forget about enjoying my food. I'm walking down my hallway and I'm staring at my tiles and they are not level and some are coming loose. I hope you lighten up a bit with your O.C but I know where your coming from. T.C
I really enjoyed it! i learned a lot from this video.. I'l watch it again to take down notes.. every tips you said is important in building your dream house.. thank you for sharing! More of this pls ❤ God bless you Sir Slater and Ms Kryz! Like the funny part too.. Ang cute ni Ms Kryz 🤣❤

I like the plain white switches as long as they have 3 prong outlets, good enough for me.
Ang house nila Slater parang bahay na nilalaro ko sa Sims. Lols! Super ganda!!
i love this guy, super informative talaga ng videos mo ser! pero diko mabilang yung pagsabo mo ng "very very" "details" "big difference" HAHHAHA keep it up!
Yeah impeccable attention to details 👍
Agree! Super agree sa switch and plug! nung ginagawa ang bahay bumili lang ako ng mga switches and plugs sa hardware kaso pagtagal nasisira na agad. Sa ngaun napalitan na namin ang ilan, and next batch naman kapag nagkabudget na.
Really like your content Sir Slater....make sense!
Ka cute ni ate Kryz oy hahaha hehehe

seeing your vlog put pressure on me.. huhuhuhu cant afford even just a simple house for now!!!.. but this also my inspiration.. hahaha (stuck my head the sharp corner)
Thank you 🥰🥰
Want to build a house like that in the future! ❤️❤️
Yes,, detail matters, may subconscious effect sya lalo na sa panahon ng pandemic where we are locked down on our homes. ung feeling na malaki nga bahay mo pero parang mabilis ka mairita,. colors and finishes affects your mood subconsciously, dagdag pa kung hindi properly planned ang layout ng house.. :)
Hi Sir Slater, thank for this content. However, can we request that you make a follow up video on how you did all these details to help us in our house and construction design esp yung straight edges ng walls and corner edges. We are currently renovating our home. Thank you po. 1. corners and edges must be straight 2. for greater emphasis, add accents when transitioning from one element to another (wall (shadow gap), floors, etc.)
Thanks Engr. 🤙😉
Kada video daming info. na makkuha prang nakaka excite mag patayo ng bahay haha
Nice tips slaters!

Landlite has also designer look outlet/switches =)
Where can we buy the metal trimming you placed as transition between 2 different floor tiles? We are in the process of our home construction and we enjoy the tips that you're giving! Thanks

Cool! The accent is best presented in poliform
Can you recommend an affordable impact drill?
Tech review na may kaunting house tips haha
Those shadow gap also serves as expansion gap between door and concrete wall, minsan kasi ng crack yang part n yan, so madalas ng lalagay kami ng sealant and the paint it..
If you get to reach 1M or on your channel anniv, requesting for a compilation of all of Kryz's cameos!
Kryz is so cute!! ❤️❤️ i really adore you both! I hope I find myself a relationship like yours.. someday maybe..
Hi! What kind of marble did you use for your kitchen countertop/island? Thank you!😊

Perfecto
Samoka gyud sa acting ni ate Kryz oi hahahaha
Kryzzz acting 101I super loveeee ❤️❤️❤️❤️
sir slater, I was wondering where you posted a video before using corner beads?
Hello Engr. Slater, reaction/review vlog naman po about sa design ng skyscraper sa New York City. Thank youuu!
One of the reasons I watch this (aside from good content) is because of Kryz’s acting. Aliw!!🥰💯
Nice
Hi, Sir Slater, can I ask about the paint/colors used in skypod? Big thanks ahead sir
Slater next episode maintenance naman ng glass windows, and glass walls niyo.hehe
Kryz as a pesky mommah is cute! same sir, am more particular with the details at first I thought there was something wrong with me, I find it hard to sleep knowing there's a bit bump on the floor tile of my room, the next morning I had it redone, lolz! 🤭
Depends on the use of the socket. Why do you want switches underneath
Kryz the content material 🤣😍
On the 11:00 mark, you are replacing sockets that don't accommodate ground so you will need an adapter if you replace that. The original socket has the ground provision. The replacement looks better but not practical. Just my thoughts.
nice one XD
smooth
Engr how to do the shadow gap, what material to use to have perfect ? Thanks
Dama ko din talaga difference ng upward lighting at downward lighting. Never ko ma-unsee ever since nadiscuss ni Slater sa previous video nya haha
