Mark thank you for the effort you put into al your videos, you have inspired me to get back to this addictive hobby, only 2months ago I re-setup my 3ft aquarium, I now have 5 breeder tanks 2 grow out tanks and a small shrimp tank. (don’t tell my wife there will be more. shhh) I have also found a local breeder of plecos, so that will be my next project. Thank you again you are the STAR.

The colours from any fry will be very bright breeding them outdoors - it reminds me of the time when I had a large polytunnel where I used to grow aquatic plants for my shop as one year in early summer I put loads of endlers, guppies and swordtails in the various large containers. Every night I would leave the lights on with the doors open so it would attract a nation of midgies so the fish got very well fed with natural live food as well as being supplemented by ordinary dry food too. At the end of the summer (mid September) we carefully emptied out all the containers and there were hundreds of huge adult fish and a nation of young really colourful fish of all types including some beautiful endler / guppy mixes. I put them all in the shop and every one was sold on the first Saturday, lol - the other fish in the shop looked so dull by comparison. I wish that it was in the last 10 years as I could have filmed the process and the results as those fish which came out of the bright green water were really a sight to behold. Keep up the good work, man.

@@MARKSAQUATICS Yes that will definitely help them although with it being outdoors there will be all sorts of flies dropping eggs into the water on a daily basis (probably mosquitoes, lol) They will be spoily for choice as far as natural food goes.

I added a water lily and a few other plants, threw a handful of adult guppies in back in April, 6 females and a couple of males and just left them to it until end of September when I emptied it.
