    Eh wrong. It’s actually it’s the laurel bay tree a tree native to the Mediterranean it’s scientific name being Lauris Nobilis, or as the Roman’s called the headwear, “corona laurea”, corona referring to crown and laurea referring to the type of leaves from which it derived

    Greeks used Laurel crowns before the Romans...the Romans adopted it from the Greeks
