Your reaction at the end was completely relatable. I have spent over 3 weeks constantly working on one stopmotion and I only have three and a half minutes of work to show for it. The only difference between yours and mine was that I used transformers with legos and did all of it practically.

As a crazy godzilla fan seeing this tutorial definitely helped me to using after effects and premiere pro

I ususally don't use a set framerate. I just speed up and slow down the shots depending on how long I want it to last.
