This video is great, very easy to follow. i just wish I had the time to make the puppets. I have a class were I have to present a puppet show. I will just have to make felt puppets. Awesome video!

Great Tutorial! I recommend enlarging the pieces in photoshop. the puppet head i originally made i couldn't get my hand to fit in!

These puppets are great. They look a lot easier then the ones I made where I had to cover the foam in fleece, I like the idea of using a sock for your arm. My question is, what if I wanted to make a body with arms. Can I still do that with this puppet head? One last question: I printed out the pattern and it printed all on 8.5X11 piece of cardstock. Is it suppose to be that small? If I enlarge it how much bigger should it be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

For the eyes, you could use ping pong balls or plastic spoons!

Love this video. Several people have asked where to find the foam. Joann fabrics foam is 2 mm. We need at least 1 cm, right?

+Gooch Buddy I actually found 1 inch foam at WalMart. I don't know if that is too thick. Another option that I am figuring out is to use the 2 mm foam and use a stapler to piece them together instead of the toxic contact cement. Haven't tried it out yet, but seems to be a viable alternative.

I had a hard time with the mouth. But I would like to ask where you got the pattern? I kind of winged it and made it up.

Can i use real glue?

What type of glue did you use? Contact cement doesn't seem to work as it appears in the video. We purchased high density foam which is similar in appearance to what was used in the video, but no matter what glue I've tried it doesn't hold well.
