how to make a personality capture file, sir

Im having an issue with a Mac Aura XB where the subfixtures arent behaving as I expect. When selecting the master fixture, I would expect for it to edit all subfixtures (beam and aura) but it only edits beam. It also has the white channel on the master fixture and not the beam subfixture. Am I able to edit the built in fixture personality to change have the fixture behaves?

Hey jones. Yes you can edit the in built fixture file. Go to patch and edit fixture file. Then select the fixture you want to edit. That will open up the Avolites personality builder.

Hi bro, How to import the fixture personality in classic console? Like if I create one personality for one light.. Then how can I import in the classic console

You can copy that personality file for USB Stick. And connect it to the console. While patching select the connected USB Drive. If not showing, there is a "Copy" small software of Avolites download it and copy it to the USD Drive and run it while inside the USB. That Should work. Give it a go. and let me know.

Do you have a video for how to create personality for a fixture that when in 8 channel mode all cells respond, 12 channel splits the cells into two groups and 76 channel responds with individual cells? I’m unsure how to build the profile for the 12 channel mode - thanks!

Yes you can but there will be some limitations with programming capabilities. Also that will limit the no of fixtures you can use. Only 7 fixtures for one universe.

When you save the file as Pearl classic it saves as R20 file. When patching select the connected pen drive.

Personality builder i have made a ( sharpe file )😮😅in standard mode and also saved but its not showing when attached to console how to get this. Please help

What is the console? The file you made is it D4 or R20?

Hie I am from india, And currently from past 1 year i am using avolites t1 dongle for my small gigs, i have 16 ch chinese sharpy i have created the personality on my own but i am not able to work those personality in visualizer.can u please help for this.

Hey bro. You can't use the fixture files that you built, with the visualizer. only the fixture files that come in library and capture available will work for capture visualizer.

Can I ask for your help. How to add fixture in my console avolight pearl 2010,, I made personality through a personality builder then I put it to my usb drive, then I inserted it to he console but it doesn't work no found shapes is the result, 😢how can I fix it,,

There is a copy exe file in avolites website Download that. You have to copy that too, along with the fixture files for the pen drive and run while it is inside the pen. (For pearl 2010 Fixture file format is R20)

Hey brother. The custom fixtures that we make doesn’t work in visualizer. Dyou have to send a request to with your fixture details to get the files included in to visualizer.

If it is a fixture file that you made, it won’t come in visualizer. You have to send a request to Avolites to make a file that will work in Visualizer. Send the request through avolites personality website.

If it is a pixel, you can creat cells for RGBW, Then create a virtual dimmer.

Hey Bro. You can open the D4 file in personality Builder and then save file as For pearl R20. Also you can try generate R20.

@@shashionlights sorry to be too much but you are the only one who Answers here!! So I downloaded a fixture from personality fixture finder page on avolites and I converted my file into R20 but when saving it a panel showed up about some attributes missing for visualiser but I saved it anyway and then when I patched it into my pearl 2010 I missed some channels my fixture was 16ch in D4 but when on the console it turned out to be 14ch and I am missing some controls for my light, can you please help me with that or tell me the cause. It is a (19*15w zoom led moving head) manufacture is unknown.
