Nice! I love seeing other people using Unreal Engine to do this. I have been wanting to make a 15 minute short in UE for two years now and until lately, my only problem was that the sequencer tutorials were very outdated and there was not enough documentation for me to figure it out. So glad to see this aspect of UE get addressed in 5.0+ and now we have animation tools in UE too!!! The only thing that sucks is I don't have much time to commit to this right now.

Yeah, the documentation can be a bit of a jungle sometimes, especially since Epic releases a new version quite often. With regards to time, have you considered to set a smaller goal first, so instead of a 15 min short which is quite a large task, then go for a 30 sec initial goal and build from there?

@@PhillipBerg Oh, yea, I could. I would not expect to do it all in one shot, I have to split it up through small bits each day. My "problem" if you will is that I only get about 4 hours five days a week to do anything and the remaining two days I have off from work are a hit or miss. That is where my time restraint comes in. The real challenge I face is that I have to learn how to use UE for this from scratch. Not too hard because 5.4 has good documentation. Difficult because it is very hard for me to learn by watching someone do it. The best way I learn is by following a tutorial and attempting to deviate from the provided instructions to try my own things out. I learned out to set up an RPG in UE doing this in 2 weeks and started doing my own things on that project after the first week. So, realistically, it is not impossible, I can do this. The problem comes in time constraints because the longer I have to wait between days working on the project, the harder it is for me to retain what I am learning. I do have plans to fix this though. My boss at work has no issues with me bringing a laptop into work to use while I have "down time" (hotel front desk) as long as I am on top of my work for my job. In a month or two I should be able to get one to do that and I have Unreal Engine installed on a portable 1T External Hard Drive. With any luck, maybe once I get that I can get something going between Monday -Thursday. I was told by a friend I should just team up with someone who knows how it all works but that is easier said than done.

I'm already creating my film, I really liked the unreal engine to do that.

Unreal is the perfect tool to create your film. You can create any location and let the imagination be your only limit

Good videos. Can you do one with dialogue. I want to see how you sync dialogue with FBX characters from Mixamo, iclone or sketchfab, no metahumans. Thanks.

When I bring metahuman or any rigged assets into unreal Engine I am not able to see the control rig in the viewport

Did you add the meta human or asset in to the sequencer and did you try to push “G” on your keyboard ?

Yes I have done it all the bones and other parameters are showing in the sequencer but the control rig is not showing in viewport

@@kunalbiswas3936 This is what I can think of: Check the Display Options. Check that the viewport is set to display the control rig. Sometimes it may be hidden due to viewport settings. In the viewport, click on the "Show" menu and make sure that the "Control Rig" option is checked. And secondly, to make sure you are not in game mode

@@PhillipBerg I went to the show options panel but I didn't got the enable control rig option 🥲 and I was not in game mode also Can u please make a short video on this solution if it Is possible
