Good tutorial, man :)
Thanks mate! Cool tutorial. Could you please make a video on efficiency & set up. Can’t get quite the grasp 🏅thanks for your videos 🔥
Good job :)
Hey man. Loving your vids so far! What do you do when you've made your drum beat? Where do you save it to? Or can you make it a pre-set or something?
thanks for that!
So helpful
youre so good dude
Followed one of your other tutorials yesterday and following this one today! Thank you! Question - if I go online and download new drumbeats or sounds, etc, do they just show up automatically in Ableton? (EDIT: just saw you already kind of responded to this below. I'll go see if I can find a tutorial for installing packs when I need them...)
Just too add to the part about Grooves, you need Standard or Suite for the Groove Pool to be available. Awesome stuff here and thank you for making these videos.

Hello Andrew. I like your videos so much and I can tell, you are the best youtuber of ableton tutorial makers. Hope you will keep it up. And I want you something. I just bought a Launchkey 49 MK II. I want to learn with midi keyboard but cant find tutorials like yours. Can you make some stuff with midi keyboards? Thank you so much.
When I go back to the timline there is not clip and when I right click and Insert MIDI clip it makes a blank clip. How do I put what I just made on the timeline as a loopable drum track?
Tutorial starts at 6:00
perfect
just in case anyone was wondering groove pool isnt available in ableton lite or intro
Hi, how can I use the drum loops with the extension ADG as in their previews? I'd just use, let's say, KJS Noise Kit.adg as a loop/beat ready to use (8:00), not as a drum rack. Is this possible?
How do you add effects to each sample on the drum pad ? like a Saturator to the snare for example?
This trick with the groove is very valuable. I wonder if I should apply this on just one bar (which will be duplicated a lot of times during the whole song) or somehow on the whole song. Maybe this will be answered in one of the other tutorials.
How do I load the beat into a bar tho
love from cheese,indiana :)
What was that drum sound you used??? k__somthing? I couldn't read it from the screen session :( I guess its not stock on AL suite. :(
That site looks interesting. 😏👍
💚💚💚💯
Is it possible to demonstrate how to make a beat in Ableton using novation Launchkey mlk 3 step by step for beginners
I’m trying to edit the pitch of ONE singular clip but not all, anyone know how?
Love TOOL
first off, great vids dude! but i have a question for anyone that has ableton .i know this has nothing to do with this video but i have ableton live 10 lite, and i really wanna buy ableton, but cant find anywhere that tells which version is better. yes i know, the higher tha price, tha more comes with it, but im just wanting ableton to have every feature. it doesnt have to come with extra stuff, it just needs to come with everything to have every effect and ability. so my question is, does standard come with everything?or will i still be limited? i dont wanna buy suite if standard comes with the same amount of abilities . thanks in advance to whoever takes tha time to answer this.

Q merk This helps: www.ableton.com/en/live/compare-editions/ But my opinion- save up the extra $ toward Suite, wait for a discount special and get an ‘Educucational’ Licence if you qualify. They are a cruisy team of music producers and devs and it is worth investing in... Suite just has a bunch of extra sounds and effects and instruments that you will kinda think ‘man I wish I had’ but if you have other VSTs that you like and plenty of samples then- cool but just remember that ‘native’ or ‘inbuilt’ Ableton stuff (especially effects) just tends to run more smoother and stable... hope that helps!
What is the resolution of ur monitor?
Is the Groove window not in Lite10, or has it changed since the video

Standard and Suite have Groove Pool
I can't get the grooves to load on the beat as I don't have that commit button anywhere.
How did you get that dark mode on ableton
@junskey
4 жыл бұрын
options --> preferences --> look/feel --> dark
I didn’t get the bit where you imported the drum kit you found online into Ableton live..I saw you audition it...and bam! you were back in AL pulling out a 909. Can I assume you just showed us that stuff is available online but you didn’t show us how to get it into AL and ended up using on of the inbuilt drums anyway?
@CollectiveIntelligenceMusic
4 жыл бұрын
I didn't show/teach that part - I said in the video I'm going to use fancy drums but if you don't have them then just use a 707/808 or 909. Installing Ableton Packs are straight forward - but in this example I didn't have a pack to install to show you how it's done.

Missing the commit button but im playing in 11. I assume it does it automatically now? not sure kinda seemed like it

also wasnt 100% sure what do do once we made this beat together. How do i move this beat into the whole midi channel now to progress the rest of the song?
Why are the beats slightly different than the sample sound?
Youve done this video twice without actually showing how to get the beat into the recording. Ive been trying everything and I cant get it to stop either playing the same loop in places i dont want it to or not playing anything at all.
When I save the this project. Then try to load it again all of the notes seems to have disappeared!! The samples are there but all of the notes don't reload?? :(

To be honest with you I really don't enjoy making those videos any more - I know that's not great for all my viewers who are enjoying and learning a lot from them... But I am never happy with how the songs sound that I make in the series and feel like I don't properly teach what I'm doing... I prefer to make other content. I'll give it a little longer and then I may continue the series.

Maybe you can teach like how you make a track from beginning with all the advanced tools I’m sure your viewers will love it Because there are too many peps teaching from the beginning and not everyone is showing how really to dig in You can ask in poll I’m sure people will go for that
