I've had very positive experiences too with traffic police so it's not same for all

Allah karay Pakistan ka Hur police wala. Itna he Khush akhlaq or madadgar hojaye...cameray me bhi or asal Zindagi me bhi...aameen

In Norway we have 45 questions in theory exam. And at least 19 hours with driving instructor. Incuding long drive, night drive, city drive and driving on slippery roads...total price about 10 lakh rupis...

In Pakistan we also have strict rules don’t Underestimate us. You just need to call one of your acquaintance in traffic police 👮‍♀️ and after formality test you have your new license.

Ok so what if it costs 1M PKR? It's almost 35K Norwegian Krone, whereas average monthly wage in Norway is 54000 NOK/Month as of I'm commenting with a lot of state welfare as it's a Scandinavian country. The test should be tough but there's no need to mention how expensive the test is in Norway in PKR when there is no comparison of per capita GDP of both countries.

Honestly my first time getting licensed was pretty much the same and the traffic police guys were chill. The only difference is I used my own car to give the test which was actually more difficult because of its bigger size and difficulty getting it reversed because it was more like a C shape circuit.

@@an0utlaw yup, you can either use their manual cultus or your own car. But remember that the cones are set according to the manual cultus that they have. If you're using your own car make sure you use your smallest one.

FANTASTIC 2 the Point Vlog for Driving License. What a great effort. Appriciated.

Not sure how such a test can establish a candidate's road-worthiness. This is very basic stuff, that you learn on the first day of driving. Most countries take test on actual roads. That's where you can judge lane keeping, coordination with vehicle traffic and foot traffic and following of road signs and signals. If this starts happening, I am sure most new license holders will continue to follow the basics from the test when they get on the road and hopefully correct the bad habits of experienced drivers who drive like maniacs.

I think we should appreciate the fact that our govt has made this very pain in the ass process very easy for everyone. I remember very well in the past to not to apply for the license just because i know i had to bribe first bribe an agent add good hansome 10 or 15k just to get into the test then i have to bribe the officers out their who’s in charge their at the test and then i can have a chance to get my license and remember the fact that i am very well educated and very good at driving so i can just imagine how a regular person or below regular person can get his license without considering it as luxury. I am not here to offend anyone just saying that we need to start just start no matter on what level educate our public first and remove their fears first that they have since the beginning and then slowly slowly make ourselves and the system better but first we need to learn how to start not to criticise everything that anyone take dare to start and giving them examples of those whose are 50 60 years ahead of us. #Peace

I went to get my Learner driving license a month ago and the officer were actually were polite cooperative and we mannered, i got my license in 5 minutes 🙂

It is our obligation to drive cars only if we possess a valid driving license. Additionally, driving licenses should be mandatory during the process of buying or selling any car/bikes.

Here in Australia you must have 100 hours with driver instructor while having learner license then you get provisional licence which is for 1 year and its red colour means you cant exceed 90km/h and then you get green provisional licence which has limit of 110km/h. After that you get you full New South Wales license which mean no conditions. And also you cant have any demerit points on Learners license like you cant have fine on learners licence. If you still get fined your learners licence will be suspended for 3 months. Get license is extremely hard but very very safe procedures here in Australia.

Went there yesterday, VERY HUMBLE AND AMAZINF STAFF!! But only 2/10 computer systems were working. A 20 minute process took 2 hours (8 hours even for some). Once clear, nobody took my actual road test and simply issued me the license.

bohar hi mushkil nahin naamumkin hota hai bhai.. woh jaan kar aisa karte hain.. agar rishwat band bhi ho to bhi isi tareeqe se fail kar dete hain takay aap dobara fees bhar k ajaao.

IDK about other cities but the entire process is recorded in lahore due to which there behavior is really good

I got the renewed licences in almost two months. I applied on 1st June 23 and received it on 23rd July 23.

No where in the world driving tests are done like that. It’s a failed procedure to do driving test. All developed countries practically do test on roads by letting people drive for 45 minutes with all the practical conditions.

I went to liberty center yesterday for new license. It took me 5 hours not 20 mins to get my learner license, written and road test. I was able to pass all tests. Traffic police is now campaigning that environment is very good and process is quick. But here is what my experience and abservations: 1. There was an information desk but no staff throughout my 5 hours there. 2. No information board was available on the process and documents requirement. 3. During my time people with reference were entertained as they came in and it felt really bad that normal people had to wait for 5-6 hours. 4. The staff was unprofessional, unfriendly and hostile. 5. There were no AC and environment was very bad. 6. Staff was short and overworked, maybe that is why they were irritated. 7. After completing everything, they told me it will take 2 months to get my license card. He said you can get e license in few hours from rasta app but the app is not working. I also tried their website which is also down. All in all it was a nightmarish experience for me. The only positive thing, I can say is that they did not ask me to arrange stamp tickets instead I gave cash. Lastly, instead of spending resources on advertisements that your system is perfect. Train your staff and provide them with proper resources to do their job. Improve the facilities and reduce the load on facilities by building more centers and providing online services instead.

the charges are mentioned on the automated machine and the entire process is recorded here in lahore so rishwat khori is not possible nowadays. i do not know about smaller cities though

You have to pass the test with the car they will provide at the center. It was allowed to take the test on your own car before but not anymore.

Itp office has banned for licence renewal at F8 and G6 also, only Faizabad branch issues the license which is not supported, even website is also not updated this limitation

they did not tell about the driving license postage stamps which cost Rs60 for learner and Rs.100 for permanent license It require buying two tickets i.e. for bike and car separately for each license. This info may be outdated as I got learner issued earlier Traffic police must integrate on spot payment

I think postage stamps are only required if you go to something like a 15 office to get license. Dedicated licensing places are very convenient.

apart from a few police stations ,they are extremely rude and ill-mannered.I visited Iqbal Town,Lahore branch yesterday and they were extremely uncooperative. In k shar se Allah hi bachay.

Sindh police will never commit to such type of process. Even if they do, it would be a very slow process just as they did with their digital card process which took two decades to implement at an acceptable level.

@@saad.memon1 your barcoded Sindh traffic police driving license card.... Which should allow you to view your history of driving and authenticity of card.. Unfortunately, the bar code is still not utilized and the police have to manually input your data all the time. Also when renewing the card, they ask you to go where you made the card since the data is not with the other licenses offices.... It's a joke really....

You are right. I want to add Sindh ka mohakma intahai corrupt hai. Jahil officers bethaye huwe hy jo sirf haram khana jaante Jaan bojh ke fail karte hy taake banda paise dekr banwaye. Khaas tor pe nazimabad wale branch me.
