How to make a Double Globe Knot [by ParacordKnots ]
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I want to show you how to tie a Double Globe Knot. It should not be hard, but may be confusing, but don't give up. As I usually saying don't be hurry in tightening. Pull cords more times a bit, than one and hard. Good luck.
What you need:
2 x 6ft pieces of paracord
1in ball - material is your choice / it could be little smaller or bigger than 1in
Music tracks from KZread Audio Library:
0:00- 5:30 Malmo Sunrise - The 126ers
5:35- 7:46 Up above - Letter Box
8:00-12:44 Venice Beach -Topher Mohr and Alex Elena

Super job
Me gustan esos trabajo. Son de gusto refinados y de laboriosidad cuidadosa. Desde el barrio La Alquería. Bogotá Colombia.
That was/is a very good presentation. I might even be able to do it. I've got a couple of about 1 1/4" balls from ball bearings that may give the filling a little heft. Using the 2 different colored cords helped a lot in following along. Thank you so much ! I've got black, red, and OD cord on hand. Now I've got to figure out what color combo I want to use.

Mil gracias👍👍👍
Parece, assistindo ,muito fácil!!! Mas tem seus "pulos do gato" !!!
Hola, casualmente te encontré y me encantó tu trabajo, sería posible que hicieras unas mancuernas o mancuernillas con bolas
very nice
I find that a requisite number of lacing needles greatly improves the ease of weaving. I've made a few out of short aluminum binding posts
I'm taking it! Забираю! 👌👌👌
damm... gona need an extra pair off hands to make this, I'm stuck here with my 2 left hands. lol thx for this tut. sir. will give it a try.

You could put lacing needles on all 4 ends and weave per usual. It makes picking the weave order a lot easier

Beautiful work. Just wondering, are you starting the wraps from the center of the cords, the ends, or about 1/3 from the cord ends? Thanks
Thanks for the video sir. I ended up with almost 3ft of extra cord (x2) without any idea how to finish or what to do with them. Any ideas how to use such a lovely globe? Thank you again!
So beautiful😍✨❤.. I like it. You are a wonderful ( paracord Knots channel)
trop beau
Nice brother
Fantastico 🥳 Bellissimo 😌
epic!! so easy toooooooooooooo!!!!
awesome
Superb
bravo!
Then, how do you finish the remaining paracord?
awesome.. cute
Can you use somehing besides paracord for this? (Like macrame string)
Me podría decir qué material y sus medidas es en español 🙏🏽 por favor,me gusto mucho gracias 😊
Super 👌
Great tutorial! Only thing you forgot to mention that a tiny ball is needed in the end for finishing the globe. And I hope as well you can take time to show us how to tighten the knot in a good way. Many thanks for your efforts! :) P.S.: Okay, now I've found the reference to the needed ball, thx! ;)

How would you make it bigger Just keep Goin around and around with the weave??
@lars3601

It's more dependent on core size, which in turn will increase or decrease number of passes for full coverage

Извините
great video! But I have a 1.5 inch steel ball. How to adjust the design? More wraps?
Bagus sekali... 👍👍👍
Great execution. In the 80's I bought a very big book by Clifford W. Ashley, he suggest to do more complicate tie with wood plate and pins.
What would you recommend to do for a key chain????
I wish I could wrap my brain around learning to think upside down and backwards. Once I have a knot or weave down I don't forget it but learning when I have to stop the video often so I don't miss something, I would need an extra hand to run the mouse. But what the heck, with this self quarantining I have nothing better to do to take up the boring time at home. Being retired has its advantages and disadvantages.
muy bueno che ! Te felicito . abrazos de Argentina
What determines the number of facets? My guess would be the number of initial turns?
