I'm confused why you wouldn't want to pressurize the entire intake manifold instead of blocking off at the throttle? i just found a massive boost leak at injector o ring that would not had been found using this method, it was a tricky leak because it only appeared once about 3 psi was induced. by only pressurizing the intercooler assembly you can miss many many leaks, the system was designed for boost so its not like its gonna hurt anything right

Why can't you just use a pull through valve stem, then if you use a tire chuck to fill it you have a pressure gauge right there.

you can do this with any kind of compressor or even a manual air pump. Just have to find the right fittings..also VERY IMPORTANT to be able to accurately regulate the air going in and stay within the threshold. If you put too much compressed air in, you will damage something and cause a boost leak where there wasnt any before. Also your adapters will come flying at you. GL

Hi! I have been following you for quite some time now and I love your videos. Keep them coming. I have a 2005 Audi 1.8T and I just recently upgraded to a few performance parts and I re-allocated the N75 valve away from near the turbo where it was originally located to the firewall passenger side. Will this affect boosting issues because of the greater distance it now has away from the turbo? Thank you in advance.

you cant just remove it. you'll only run off the wastegate setting if you do (4psi?). you would need to run a manual boost controller instead if you removed n75. but dont do that. personally i would keep the n75 close to the turbo. i moved my dump valve close to the throttle body for the same reason. (i have a race ecu and run 100% atmospheric dump valve though)
