So much fun sewing with you all these years.
Thanks for showing that your blocks don’t always come out perfect and then how to adjust for that. And yes, Natalie looks so beautiful!
Hello Jenny and Natalie! I always look forward to your tutorials. The favourite 15 series has been fabulous! I hope you have plans to start another series together in the new year. Great point, Natalie, about how extra seams in a section will affect the final dimension of the units. A tiny amount of fabric is taken up each time a seam is pressed over the thickness of the thread. Perhaps taking a scant 1/4 seam between those skinny strips in the middle would minimize this. It warms my heart to see the way that Natalie looks at her mom at the end of the video. ❤️ Thank you, ladies, and stay well! Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
As a newbie quilter I have to say you have inspired me with the “legs”. I love stars in quilts and now my mind is racing with blocks that I can just add legs to! Thanks so much!!

LOL. Your hooked now. I started watching Jenny 12?13 years ago, let’s just say the rest is history. Watching her succeed helped me succeed at my quilting. She was like watching your sister or your neighbor succeed. Then I visited the shops a couple years ago. I’m a happy quilter.

Jenny is the very best at teaching quilting and showing you how you can do all these scary blocks. I have been a fan of Jenny's for years and i have to watch her every day or i feel like i missed a special visit with my sister. Her daughter Natalie is as talented as her mother and why not . Both are Angels from Heaven sending us blessings to us everyday.❤😊
SO GLAD I WAS ABLE TO CATCH THIS ONE BEFORE RETIRING FOR THE NIGHT 😂 I LOVE THIS BLOCK. IT LOOKS SO COOL AND I THINK I CAN DO IT! NO!!! I KNOW I CAN DO IT 😊😊❤

I love making this block
I've loved this block since way back in the day when you introduced it the first time. BUT, to see this new twist on the pattern by setting the altered four patch in a star, AND seeing how you offset the rows by alternately adding a sashing to the beginning of the row or to the end of the row, just gave a great example of the many things you can do with a block. I usually think "balanced" (e.g. if you have a sashing on the left side of the row, then you must have one on the right side if the row), but this just stretched my mind, seeing what happens when you alternate the sashings! Thank you for this new tutorial!
It’s so great to see the relationship you two have. And when Misty joins you, that’s another great relationship.
I love that Natalie is appearing on so many of your tutorials. She is my favorite. I love this block. If I decide to be lazy, this will look good without cutting it down. But then the star legs size would have to change. Oh well, guess if I make this, I will follow suit. Love you guys.
Thank you for inspiring and sharing another one of your quilts. I get so inspired and excited by them. I'm the person that then shops for for the material ❤. I had to stop myself because I've boughten so much material from you and still have so many projects that I have not started that I've forgotten what the material I bought was for 🤔 😂😂😂.
19:42 This was a wonderful tutorial...explicit and encouraging. I loved the off-set design. Your teamwork, as always, is inspiring. Thank you!
I love this block!! Not a quilting comment but Natalie you look Awesome!!!❤
This was a great tutorial! I made a quilt with this block several years ago! That was before it became a Star! I like the change, too! Thanks, ladies! You made my night! Now I can dream about making this quilt!
Each block looks like a gift to me so I’m thinking it would look great with Christmas fabric. Beautiful quilt!!!
I'm a lefty too Jenny! I love how Natalie left the ruler in place when cutting the block as she turned the rotating mat.
Thanks for the refresher on the disappearing 4 patch. the star finished the block off beautifully. I love the fabric line as well.
The disappearing block is so magical and the fabrics are beautiful!
I love my rotating mats (and yes, I do have e several - square and round!). Before we had these rotating mats, many of us used a smaller mat and just turned it - so thank you Jenny for mentioning that this is an alternative as the rotating ones can be a bit pricey! And - I love putting a smaller disappearing 4 patch in the middle of a star!!! This has my brain thinking about other disappearing blocks made smaller to fit inside of any sized star!!!
So pleased to see you use a rotating mat!
Love it. All the disappearing blocks are cool! Nice big blocks. Love the pink you used as the background fabric. Very pretty.
Nice to revisit the disappearing four-patch and think about variations. Natalie, I love the bangs on you; you look fantastic! Thanks, ladies!
Beautiful block and ladies you both look beautiful! I am curious if you are planning to put all of the this series favorite 15 patterns into a book? Oh yes I will be one of the first to purchase it if you do! 💜🥰🎉
This would be so beautiful as a Patriotic quilt! Love the video and you both look beautiful ...... thank you
I love this block, too! It's so cool! Thank you for sharing this tutorial. Jenny and Natalie, you two are awesome and so much fun. The fabric line is beautiful. Have a wonderful day. ❤❤😊
One of these blocks with triangles added to set it on point in Christmas fabrics would be such a pretty wallhanging or table topper!
I think you just gave me my sewjo back! Now I've just gotta go find some fun fabric!
Just ordered the pattern and some fabric for this for my 9 year old granddaughter. The first quilt I made her when she was a baby isn’t ’grown-up’ enough.

@@annettestoutjesdyk8641 did you find it?
Ya Jenny, you and Natalie both always say the right thing to make me feel more confident in cutting and sewing these blocks….thanks 😊 so much!
Natalie, thanks for the explanation of why more seams on one row/column than the other can cause mismatched sizes. I guess that if you have perfectly sized seams and perfect ironing technique this wouldn’t be true, but who can claim that?!?!
I love seeing mother and daughter interacting and being so kind to each other as they make these beautiful works of art. Sweet, sweet ladies. Thank you for teaching us.
Love the hair Natalie x
Oh the fabric possibilities 😊
I love this disappearing block! Beautiful quilt!
Just made a Disappearing 4 Patch Quilt for my daughter& 2 friends for high school graduation. Now I’ll make this fun beauty for myself. I love it, Ladies. Thank you!!! 😄

What special gifts to celebrate a special time in their lives. We hope you do make a fun beauty for yourself too!
I absolutely love your natural teamwork. How lovely with you’re relationship…
This would be a great scrap buster quilt. Love how it takes an old thing and makes it new.
Seriously I am so thankful for all of their videos. I constantly learn something new. Thank you for all that you do and how you help us!
This was my favorite most gratifying block from the All Star quilt.
Wow! What a great block to sew. I've been going thru scraps and have many squares that will be fun to sew in this pattern. Thank you Jenny and Natalie. By the way, you folks are a professional team and the camera angle is just peachy! Marion
Disappearing 9 patch is my favorite! Love this variation!!! ❤❤
sewing and knitting is a very soothing and amazing hobby.
Yippee!!! I love this disappearing block... Have used it often. BUT I LOVE me some stars!!! Alllll about the stars! Thanks ladies! Love it!!!
I am currently working on this quilt. I’m loving it. It’s taking a while to make it but worth it! It’s for my granddaughter that’s turning 10 on May 2nd. So far it’s turning out beautifully. By the way, Natalie prefers the block lock ruler to trim the half square triangles, and Jenny likes the Clearly Perfect Slotted trimmer. I have to agree with Jenny; I too prefer it!
So much fun to have a sewing buddy,
Jenny did what I do a lot. She was thinking ironing and wanted to sew sew and ended up saying ironing. Thankfully I am not the only one! I will do this one. Love the variations of the star block!!
I’ve always loved this pattern. Adding the star legs is the icing on the cake !! ❤
I love how calm you are, Natalie
I’m so excited to see this. It’s an interesting rendition of an old favorite! Happy sewing!
Another awesome quilt with Jenny and Natalie😊
This quilt is a show stopper! Wow!
I like the tip of flipping to make sure which direction the close seams go. Much easier than trying to do from the bottom side. Thanks!
I love this quilt as always. Love tge mother daughter team too! Y'all are the best!! I am tgankful for all videos, and all angles!❤
Thanks Jenny & Natalie. This block is just adorable.
Love this block with the star legs!
I love this! What a pretty star and so many color options. Perfect 😊
Hi Jenny and Natalie i watch you since many years❤you never get tired of amazing quilt ideas. You're so amazing! Lots of love from overseas Germany❤
Nice design! Lovely fabric choices. Ladies, I always enjoy watching you sew together! Great video tutorial!😊
I can’t wait until tomorrow morning - day 1 of Jenny’s Christmas Box
Just lovely. Thankyou Jenny, Natalie and Team. Hugs, Chel 🌸
Just love that light pink background. It really sets it off. Nice job ladies!!!
I love this!!! Love disappearing 4 patches, and never thought to have them inside a star!!!
Oh, I finally got a chance to sit and watch this one! I LOVE it!! Such a great way to dress up a block that might have been done a gazillion times!!
Gorgeous quilt! I love stars!
Such a lovely quilt! Love me a disappearing block! Thanks so much, Jenny and Natalie
Love the disappearing patch star!
I do squaring, too, and ,like Jennie, I don't really enjoy it. I find it tedius. But I do appreciate the ease of using units that are all the right size. Another fun tutorial that is well organized and concise. Thanks for all you do for the quilting community!
I had plans on making the disappearing four patch, but now rethinking that I just might need to add the star legs. Thanks for another great tutorial. So look forward to this every Friday.
I really like this quilt! It looks like one of those quick and easy ones, which is a good one to remember when I need a baby quilt fast!
Love this design!❤❤❤
Thanks for the tips on the seams Natalie. You rock, and you do look awesome 😊
Beautiful!!
Great block and quilt Jenny and Natalie 👏♥️🇦🇺
Beautiful. Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️
I just love that block… thank you for that tip.
Great looking quilt!
Looking good, ladies❤ Love this quilt.
I love this refresher! I’m going to make these alternate blocks in a Christmas quilt❤
Love this block, will be making this one, cause I love stars!!
Natalie, I absolutely LOVE your sweater!! 💛 This quilt is stunning too. 🧡
You all just inspire me to keep trying and keep creating! Thank you❤️‼️
Wonderful block! I just love you two ladies❤️ Thank you so much for all your content! Happy Stitching🧵🧵🪡🪡
Love this block!
Love this quilt! You could always go the four at a time flying geese vice the HST’s. You would just need (4) 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 of color and (1) 9 1/4 x 9 1/4 of background. This would reduce the seams as well. Going to make this quilt for sure! Thank you!!!! Generates so many ideas!
I woke up really really early this morning. I am enjoying my cup of tea with you lovely ladies and this lovely quilt
I love this one!! I just finished my disappearing 4 patch. Now you inspired me to turn them into stars. Thanks
Always wonderful tutorials from MSQC. Love you guys!!
Love all the tips as they go along.
Fabulous use of 5 inch squares
So pretty!

Ladies, this is certainly a beautiful and easy quilt, I am looking forward to making one soon. Thanks for the tutorial and Natalie you are right on track with the hint about the seams, discovered this with another disappearing four patch I made.
Love watching you two
Great video! Love this block! I always look forward to all the videos from MSQC!
I’m definitely a Natalie fan! I love her insights.
I made one test block with scrap fabric and it came out so pretty. And it was so easy. I made my cuts at 1.5 inches. The block is a very nice size.
Beautiful ❤️ 😍
Thank you. I have learned so many hints watching your tutorials.
Natalie, keep doing what your doing you look Fabulous!
❤ Love ❤ this block! Thank you for verbally acknowledging the FEAR FACTOR b/c I suffer from it! 😢
Both of you are looking so good.
