Here is a tutorial on how I make my daisy zipper bag! The tutorial includes both the crochet bag and the fabric lining/adding the zipper I hope you enjoy this tutorial and find it helpful; if you have any questions let me know below and I'll do my best to help :)

Granny Square (Round 1): 00:48 - 1:51
Granny Square (Round 2): 1:51 - 4:36
Granny Square (Round 3): 4:36 - 7:38
Granny Square (Round 3): 7:38 - 10:03
Attaching Bag together (attach as you go): 10:03 - 22:46
Top of bag: 22:46 - 25:16

I always make my bag straps using both yarn and a sewing thread to avoid stretching. Thanks for this tutorial!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. This was very helpful. I'm not a novice to sewing but rarely do it these days. I spent a long time crocheting a bag as a gift to my mother and I can't imagine seam reaping out of crochet because of a small miscalculation, so this tutorial kept me on track and helped me foresee issues I'd have. Note, I did end up hand sewing at the pull end of the zipper.

This was my first time making a lining for my crochet project.. I have never sewn before and I had to hand sew the lining… it was really difficult but also challenging…thank you for this video it helped me a lot

Try the waistcoat stitch for your strap. It will be much stronger then using a single crochet.
