Custom buttons make clicker games easier to make in GDevelop than other engines.😉 -Wesley

The reason why its one of the most played idle games is propably because i have had the the game open 24/7 for the past month

I have built 2 different clicker games so far using Gdevelop. I am planning to build a 3rd one. This time with more juice 🙂

When I change the scene it for some reason puts the amount I clicked for back to zero? If any fix pls reply. Update: I fixed it by using global variables instead of scene variables for it.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure. I know they made the mouse lock to the center of screen some how, but the example was made by someone else and I was just showing it off for the video. I haven't played with the extension much myself. I know PANDAKO is selling examples and making KZread videos, do any of them use a mouse for screen movement? -Wesley

How do I add a timer for speed running. I've added attempts with a global variable and text so I can carry it over to a new scene/level. I want a 1 second penalty for dying.

Hopefully someone will create an extension for better text. Honestly the only real things that are missing from the engine is that, and tilemaps, I hope that's added someday.

I just wonder, setting up so many timers, isn't it better to calculate the total cookies per second and then have one timer running with all those calculations in it? Like a modifier on a main timer...

how can i make the game to keep farming cookies even with the app closed

You'd need to save the date and time when the game last closed, and then when the game is opened compare the new date and time to that previous one to know how much time has passed. Then multiply your total cookies per second by the number of seconds that passed. -Wesley

It's not an extension exactly, it comes from the custom button object from the asset store. Those buttons come with their own set of conditions/actions. 👍 -Wesley

The text for the upgrade doesn't work for me it just says button everything else works

Also planning to build a click app for IOS and Google Play but I want the button to be as responsive as possible, count the clicks and give rewards after a certain amount of clicks. Is this doable as well and can I include captchas to remove potential bots? Greetings
