You are an excellent teacher. I would like more clarity how to increase rows in the beginning in order to create that pattern of lines.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. If I may make just a tiny bit of constructive "criticism"? I have very bad Tenitis in my ears (constant ringing). It's very hard to hear what you were saying in the beginning of the video because of the background music. It was not only hard to hear you over it (for me), but also it was very distracting. I hope you don't feel I'm being rude or ungrateful for the time and effort you put forth to produce this video... I do really appreciate your work!

I agree, the background music was more the foreground and drowned out her voice which became the background. I think a lot of videos have this problem.

I just found your blog and this video….and I’m so excited to try this. Thank you so much !❤️
You're a natural born teacher. I'm confident now to make my own basket. Thank you!
Nice! I started crochet two weeks ago and I know enough to start this project. Great instructions!
Loved this project. It's like a gateway project to a brand new way to work with and enjoy yarn. One can take this basket design in so many directions..
Love that large basket you showed in the beginning. Can't wait to start one, just need the cordage. Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant, this really helped me iron out some problems I was having making these. Thanks great tutorial! 💚
I found a huge roll of this kind of piping years ago at a thrift store.. now I have a use for it!! Thanks so much!! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much. This is so straightforward. I just ruined a basket that I bought from West Elm and I didn't want to pay to replace it. This will work even better for me!
Thanks for the awesome project!! Great tutorial. I'm looking forward to making some baskets. I'm trying to organize my house more and all the people making organizing videos use baskets that they buy but now I'm going to be able to make my own in exactly the right sizes and my own colours :)
By far the best tutorial I have found. Many thanks!!
omg yes, i feel like i finally understand this now!! (other videos i've watched are so confusing!) thanks!
Wow. Great tutorial. Neat how you changed colors. Thank you so very much
Great tutorial!! So clear and precise. I don’t know how to crochet, but this is going to be my first project. You are a wonderful teacher! 💐
Beautiful tutorial, thank you! A tip from someone else who was sewing a rope basket: if you tape the piping where you intend to cut it and cut in the middle of the scotch taped cord it will not fray :)

For some reason I'm having trouble with the knot. Out of 27 tries I was able to do it twice, so I'm playing that part over and over again until I can really get it! Terrific knot.

Me too! I was thinking, "Why haven't I seen this before?" And, "Why is this hidden knot such a secret?" Now, I'm saying, "I know the secret!"
Your instructions/tutorial is so easy to follow!
Thank you soooo much for the tutorial. Now I can make the bean bag Ive always wanted!
This is exactly what I was looking for!!! Thanks a lot!👍
I really like this type basket. I like it even more that you can make it very large. This would make a nice laundry basket too.
You have a wonderful voice so it IS nice that you have NO music to interfere. I like your video a lot - and hope I can get the materials. TY very much!!!
Most beautiful basket. I will start making tomorrow.
Friggin amazing. I do not have the patience. Watching caused anxiety. But I love it so much. I would totally buy one to hold my yarn 🧶 I love it.

Omg!!! SOOO Awesome can't wait to try.
This is awesome! Thank you so. Much, I think this would be perfect to make bread proofing baskets.

Amazing video hun your basket looks beautiful
Your basket looks so even & lovely! I am definitely going to try to create something similar! 💕🎀🌸💚🌈💛❤🧡
Que hermoso! Felicidades es un excelente video y me encanta el proyecto! Gracias!
Great Video.... Really well explained for an absolute beginner.... Thank You❤❤❤
This is an excellent tutorial!
Awesome tutorial thank you!! My only suggestion I've found to be super helpful with most projects is to do a double magic circle. It helps with keeping that ring tight and doesnt unravel 😊
I am thrilled to find this! I used to make something similar in high school with a yarn needle. This is much easier! Just a helpful hint....if you cut the beginning tail of the rope it is easier to wrap and fold down in place

Beautiful baskets.

Fascinating technique, looks very therapeutic. I will endeavour to make a small basket for my bathroom essentials. I simply love the texture and how you can easily coordinate your colours too. Thank you so much for a superb tutorial, so clear and easy to understand for a beginner 'crocheter'. I look forward to more videos in the future, stay safe and well xxxx

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I'm making one right now and it is so beautiful! One question: what do I do if I run out of rope and need to join a new rope?
Wow so beautiful design
Thanks! This was cool.
This is gorgeous! Cannot wait to try to make one. Just wondering if thinner piping is available.
Love your work I wanted to know how can I make the basket bigger in the middle

Beautiful basket
Hi, ChiWei! What a beautiful clean looking basket. Can't wait to try this out. Thank you for explaining things so well. Are these baskets easy to clean after being out several months? Just wondering how to treat the cord👍❤️😉
Wow 👍 very beautiful 😍
Thank you for saying that the basket will look lopsided, I have never made a basket before but I remember when I started to crochet I got upset with myself because my work didn't look like the teachers. I learned to crochet from the computer. Thank you for saying relax it will work out, just keep going.
I have been trying to figure out how to use this technique to make square bottom baskets and flat rectangular mats. Any thoughts appreciated!
This is good to store blankets or use in closets for towels, like face towels. It looks washable.
Thanks. I enjoy
Saving this one to watch again later
Hello, I just found your video and am so excited because this is what I have been looking for. I am fairly new and wanted a basket to put my new supplies and yarns in, however being new I don’t know how to do a magic circle and understand when, where to put the 2 increase stitch. Yours looked so uniform and neat. I looked on your video list and didn’t see a reference to it. If there is one would you direct me to it or if not could you break it down a little further in another video. Sorry, I hope that is not a pain for you, I just am not getting it. I really love how beautiful and functional these are and it is exactly what I would like so if you would be willing I would be so very grateful!!! Thank you so much for posting and teaching me/us. God bless !😊
That is super cool! Working on it now, although I bought not enough "piping" material and need to make a junction! Any suggestions on how to make the bridge between the two filling ropes? I am using a thinner "pipe", synthetic material and pretty rigid.
Khupacha sunder!🙏👌😀
What a great tutorial, I’m going to get started as soon as the piping gets here. Thanks so much!
I'm a fan! I've watched this video a few times and needed to get more confident reading/understanding patterns to catch the increase. I wish that part was dumbed down and went slower in the video. But I got it! Thank you

I had trouble finding the increase as well. How often are we supposed to be adding the increase?
The large basket reminds me of a basinet basket for a newborn.
I just made my first basket, I love it!! Thank you for the clear instructions may I ask what color the yellow is that your using?
Thanks for the tutorial. Do you happen to have one similar to this for crocheting a rectangles rope basket?
I am in the midst of making this now. I found her directions very easy to follow as I’ve made other baskets and rugs with this increase pattern. I searched thru all the comments looking for how much piping to use but couldn’t find any specific rule of thumb. I took a chance and bought 14 yards as that was all Joanns had in one piece. So far my basket is roughly 10” wide and I am pretty sure I’m going to run out of piping before I get a 6” high wall completed. I’m going to try to add on an additional piece of piping using both fabric glue and sewing. So I’m guesstimating I’ll use around 18 yards total (or thereabouts) of piping. I really want to try to make the huge one and bought thicker piping on Amazon (that was pricy but I’ve found especially now it hard to get a large quantity at a local store). I’m hoping thicker piping will work up quicker. I’m still unclear on how to sew in the loose ends. I did pick up some clothesline too as it looked similar to the piping. I thought why not?😂 I looked at rope but not sure how the twisted fibers would work. Maybe okay? Love the look of these baskets!!

Another thing I found was when I pulled the piping as I started up the wall it didn’t work right for me. Could be that I put too much tension or it may be because of the tension of my stitches but it worked way better when i continued up the walls with the same amount of slack on the piping as I had on the bottom... This approach worked better for me.
Loved this absolutely!😊 Any guidelines on how we can make a rectangular basket using the same technique?
Hi, thank you for a great tutorial. Can you let us know how much of both yarns and cotton piping you did you use for this basket ?
Good job 🇨🇦❤️
Thank you so much for the tutorial. How much piping would I need for the larger basket?
If I implement the Guage 5 bulky chunky yarn with this coil, will it work well?
amazing!
Please explain the increases on each row to make the fun pattern on the base
