How to Make a Cocktail Smoker, Craft Show Big Seller

Ойын-сауық

how to wood turn a cocktail smoker. In this video I take the opportunity to add another offering to my craftshow line of products, a Cocktail Smoker, You can call it a Whiskey Smoker, or even a Bourbon Smoker. I have learned that these are sought after products and in a wood turning business it is something that can be made quickly and with a small amout of overhead to it you can make pretty good profit from them.

"Yep, it's nasty." I love how matter-of-factly you state this, as though any other result would have been inconceivable. I literally laughed out loud!

Thank you, I have been thinking about this to add to our shop but you were the first I have seen doing it the way I had considered doing it. Everyone else seems to have a CNC.

I am glad I could help! They are a big seller for me. I have omitted the knob as being unnecessary, and I have gone to burning art onto them with my laser. The customers seem to like it!

Hi Mike. Hope these work out for you! A couple of production tips for you. 1. Turn round between centres. No need for marking centres, just eye ball it. Always face off and work it round by cutting in from the face, this makes it easier than going bump, bump on the corners. Turn the tenon that the strainer will fit into. 2. Chuck mount to part off the lid and hollow out. 3. Finish the lid and fineal.

Amazon. you can buy them as "cocktail smoker screens" or get them far cheaper by ordering them as sink strainers. That is what they are. Get the ones that are 2.76" in diameter.

I've looked into making these, and found the stainless steel strainers at Walmart and Amazon. They are ordinary drain strainers.

if you slap the word "medical", or "military" on a product it drives up the cost. I guess we can add "cocktail" to the list.

I would be concerned about using spalted wood to make something that is going to be subjected to heat to make smoke that is going to be used to flavor whiskey. Even though the wood chips are in a stainless basket the wood holding the basket very often burns as well
