Making a laptop stand for my CNC machine using Amana Tool® CNC router bits. www.toolstoday.com/?...
How do you think this turned out? I used this on my Shapeoko 4 CNC but the plans will work with your setup.

I then used the Fein AMM300 MultiMaster multi tool to trim the tabs and the Amana Tool #MR0112 3/16" ball bearing mini roundover bit to flush trim them and add a nice roundover to the knobs. The carriage bolts were installed and the knobs are ready to be used!

I would love an alternative without star knobs. I saw a version that doesn't need knobs

I would feel really uncomfortable using a laptop stand around a CNC unless there was a way to lock in in place. I would be afraid I'd bump it and it would end up dropping the laptop.

I am getting ready to purchase is CNC router. I will be mainly working in Mahogany and Hard Rock Maple, Machining resources into the wood which will hold inside micrometers. I'm also wondering if it might be able to rout 6061 Aluminum.

Would you happen to have a feeds and speeds chart to get me in the ballpark for specific bits?
