Everything about this tutorial is perfect except the changing tempo after making the whole beat. Thats a good way to throw everything off in the recording process. If you made the loop to a certain tempo you should stay in that tempo.

Changing the tempo of a completed beat can give it a whole new energy. Note this is still the beat making process not recording. Also loops are meant to be edited, stretched, chopped, reversed etc.. because that will allow you to flip a loop into anything you want. Theres no rules to beat making, just be creative and you'll be amazed with what you can make.
