yeah thats because of the delay, change the second number in the textures to be lower

Just go to the resize and see that single "1"? Change it to 0.1 and now u can make small, or make it even smaller with 0.01

You change the color of the third and fourth receiver. He explicitly stated that whatever color receiver will send a signal to the same colored receiver.

Wdym just use the resize tool. If you want to change the increment of size that is being changed use the box with the number on the left side.
