    What's in that sauce you mentioned earlier? I've never heard of it. It might be common in your region, but I don't know it.

    Yes. I was offered this type with bacon flavored vodka in a place in PA...I demured for Ketel One. I prefer no horseraddish...try it with Sriracha for the hot sauce. Delicious.

    There is no way you can tell if a drink is shaken or stirred unless you see it. Just put everything in the glass and give it to me I'll give it a little stir with a straw and that's it no need to go all out.

    notice how he needs to use the measuring cups. this leads me to believe hes kinda new and has very little experience in bartending. if you know what youre doing then you dont need measuring tools.

  • @thedetvetdu

    @thedetvetdu

    10 жыл бұрын

    Sorry but that's where you're wrong. In order to make a well balanced cocktail you need to make sure that the measurements are precise and you don't always pour the exact same amount while free pouring, not even when you're measuring. Most cocktailbars use jiggers/measuringcups but there are some who use free pouring, but if so they are practicing a lot with water to make it right. Meehan isn't new to bartending. In fact he's a legend to many bartenders around the world.

  • @iNsomniacGamingVids

    @iNsomniacGamingVids

    Free pouring is accurate when done correctly, but is still rarely 100% on point. It is more of a tool for speed in busy service, if you have the time to use measures, you result in a more consistent cocktail. Besides, it's an instructional video, many people watching won't be bartenders themselves, therefore they'll more than likely require measures to make their drink.

    Even chefs measure ingredients out and use those measurements when cooking that meal again. It's how you follow a recipe.
