Yes, please. I started watching your videos to learn paracord knotting for eventual adaptation to leather cord. The diamond knot is my nemesis, and it is such a lovely finish to your bracelet. An aside: as kids we used to wet leather finishing knots, or wet the leather cords before tying our finishing knots. We were taught that as the leather dried, it would shrink and conform to the loops of the knot so it would not untie itself.

Thank you for the tuturial. It was really easy to make such pretty bracelet. But! my leather cord was more smooth and slippery so the bracelet coiled. Still looks good but like another pattern.

How do you determine the length of leather cord that you will need if you are making a bracelet??

  • @tamo9520

When you're working with leather you can always use G-S-Hypo (it's a glue) to put right in the centre of your leather knot to secure it.

I just started working with leather cord recently and sometimes I find it hard to get the braids equal size because the leather can be a bit tough are you supposed to soften it up in anyway before starting?

  • @Hugo127

Cool! But isn't the knot/loop typically worn on the inside of your wrist? Putting the skull bead on the end means you'll either be hiding it along with the knot, or displaying the knot with the skull if you choose to wear it on the outside of your wrist. I guess putting the bead in the middle of the bracelet might look weird though.
