How to make a bandsaw scoop-013

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This is how I made a bandsaw scoop. Out of a block of pine from a log I use the bandsaw to cut out a scoop and sand it to shape.i put on a few coats of spray laquer for a finish .I am going to use this for a coffee scoop .if you want to make one for food use you will want to use a food safe finish like a cutting board oil or some kind of wax.
this if a fun project. Can be made in a few hours

Nice ! good idea , think I'll try that , on the bandsaw at the beginning looked dangerous ! once I was just using my thumb to push a small piece into a bandsaw blade ( I DON't NEED NO PUSH STICK ! ) suddenly it became MUCH easier to push than I anticipated, came within 1/64th of slicing my thumb open !

Cause I know that theres a cheaper one thts black for like 100-129.99 and then theres a green one( like urs )for 350-400$ I was debating the 400 one but didnt only cause the floor model didnt look too good. Then again looks can be deceiving ..aint it? Well damn tht thing works good for being an older model and u got it in good condition too.. and I showed my wife th e scoops and thts gnna be my next band saw project.
