Your Cad drawing and cnc machine skills kombined with creativity is very fascinating. I understand it is a real "timekiller" to do the cad drawing/measurements but the result is just awesome! Keep up the good work!

Nice stuff. Another option is to fit the 16 valve cylinder head from a BMW Kseries motorbike. It's a popular modification here for race cars and works very well and a lot easier to do than you may think!

We design everything from scratch in CAD. Scanning existing parts isn't very helpful for the kind of designs we do.

ardun did 8 port cross flow heads 45 years ago, sadly all the ones i have ever found had stress cracks between cyl 2 and cyl 3, this was mainly due to copying the a series water channels with no bypass hose, which caused hot spots. the bmw head conversion looks interesting, but these days there are loads of engine choices, tuning the a series is moot.

We got very good power response from our 8port head. But the need for custom exhaust and intake manifolds do not a bolt-on solution make. :D We have discontinued our heads.

Production and testing was ok. But we have since discontinued the 8 port head do to low demand.

Setting the plugs the way you have isn't the way to have them ,your design will cause stress and wear on the piston and rod . The envelope flash will ignite across one side of the piston causing the piston to unbalance and rub the skirt against the cylinder leaving it to fail through fatigue. You criticised the original manufacturer's spark plug placement but at least they got it to ignite directly and evenly towards the crown of the piston , there's books out there to know about these things
