I LOVED this. What a fantastic lesson! I remember watching a documentary about how Disney came up with this whole system for this. They essentially stacked up all these glass sheets several inches apart. On the back ones were the furthest away background, and on the front ones were the foreground. Then as they moved the camera around, it created all this depth without re-drawing it.
I was so wishing that you add a sun or moon static on all pages. That would have been the finishing touch.

I know this is just a small percentage of what’s learned in graphic art and animation, but I seriously love the application, explanation, demonstration approach you take. I fee professors could benefit from using your videos as part of their lectures. It helps that your videos are not eternally long or full of useless commentary. Thanks Andy!
You could also add curved parallel lines on the car tires to add a spinning effect.
So smart to have the light in the background

When I saw 3D, I expected something like a moving hologram. I am not even sure if a 3D flipbook exists. But this is still satisfying to watch.
I love using the parallax effect in the short little games that I make on Scratch. It’s really useful!
Fun fact! Parallax is also the word use to describe the very slow movement of stars over the course of thousands of years when viewed from earth! That stars in our star charts have slightly different placements that the stars in Aristotle's or Ancient Egypt's.
Love it!! Can't wait to receive my copy! 😊❤🤘
