FINALLY! Late to the party but I’m so thankful I finally found someone who shows us how to make these and different options. Now I don’t have to buy them! So thankful for this! ❤

That ruler trick to line it up before placing the numbers on the envelopes is brilliant!❤

don't forget tho, the goal is to save money. these ideas are great and artistic and quite motivational for beginners but remember to not over spend with materials. i use gift wrapping paper and cut it the same way she did with the cardstock, close it with clear tape and cover it a wider clear tape to make it sturdy. i also have those brown payslip envelopes and will just design it with leftover wrapping papers. but, u do u :) happy saving!

Protip... if using a heavier scrapbook paper or cardstock vs the thinner ones, be sure the fold and press the crease nice and tight. This reduces air bubbles with the heavier papers. 💕

Thanks for letting me know where to find the box, I couldn’t find it anywhere…but I hadn’t tried WalMart. I used scrapbook paper & ran mine through a second time after trimming. Then I used a bone folder (or something similar) on the edges to help seal the bubbles. You’re not kidding, it sure is time consuming. But I really like your vellum envelopes. You always do such nice work.

What a great video! Im all thumbs when it comes to crafts so this helped me alot!!! Love this challenge!!

10/21/23 Dear Desiree, thank you sooooooooooo much for helping all of us find a CHEAPER way to do this project, because I didnt want to spend money on a laminating machine and laminating paper for a project I will only do ONCE to make those envelopes so thank you, thank you, thank you for teaching us that we have the OPTION to just use TAPE, yeh!!! I am so grateful for real, especially for those of us on a TIGHT budget, great job, great demonstration, fabulous and concisely detailed Video, we wooooooooo APPRECIATE YOU, job well done!

Thanks for this! It's gotten my brain going. Staples carries a series of containers called Really Useful Box that are very similar to the ones you used, too ... and if you play CCGs like Pokemon or Magic, card protectors work for envelopes too!
