    Yesterday i tried your henna and indigo powder with a bit of aloe powder to dye my greys. First time using henna in my life. I was just tired of using chemical dyes and did not want to feel the itchiness i always felt after dying. I was amazed! The result was incredible my hair looks great and it is super soft. It was a messy process but actually much more satisfying than regular chemical dying at home. I love love love that indigo color the powders are soooo high quality. The only downside is i live in europe and it takes. So long to get them via post...but regardless i am a fan now. No turning back to chemical dyes! Thank you ❤

    I have written that in another video, but my henna never fades. The only way to get rid of it is to let my hair grow😂 I apply every 2 months to my roots and every 6 months to my hole hair. I use 200g of henna powder (for my hole hair, and only henna, i like the red tone), 500ml of water (normal temperature) and 50ml of vinager (you have a better dye release when the environment is more acid). Let it rest for 4 to 8 hours, depending on the weather temperature (when it's like 20 degrees celsius outside, i leave it for 8 hours. The hotter it is, the faster you realese and degrade the pigment), away from light (cause light degrades the pigment) and covered (cause oxygen also degrades the pigment). Then, leave it in my head for 3 to 4 hours, with a plastic wrapped around my head. Always works very nicely. Never goes away, never fades. I wash my hair everyday and use hair masks and oils everyday too. Edit: i wash it out with conditioner or other hair mask, so there isn't breakage. For the first 10 days, my hair is always a little stiffer, but after that, gets sooo soft.

    Hey love Henna . I have been using henna for over 15 years. In order to get my Grey's in the hairline (they are so resistant) I use cotton balls dipped in henna on my hairline only. Put plastic wrap or plastic cap then sit under heating cap for 30 -60 mins. Wow all my Grey's are covered evenly and lasts 6-8 weeks. Everyone compliments that coppery light color on my hairline. And the overall color of my hair. Thanks for your channel I can try red Raj. I just ordered. I'll let you know how I liked it. I have been using Napur 9 henna for years. It has 9 different herbs in it. Anywho thanks so much for your henna insight. Hope my Cotton balls helps my grey haired ladies out there. 👋 👋

    I have been using henna on and off for several years now. I used Olaplex #6 because I had some split ends/damage from prior chemical use. I kept having to re-henna my hair because something was stripping it out and I found out it was the Olaplex!! I stopped using it immediately. You really have to watch some of those leave-in conditioners, etc. PS- I love Henna Sooq!! ❤️🌿

    My main takeaway is to only clarify when doing henna and not the washes in between, and also don't use a DC with honey in it right after the henna treatment. I did use a leave-in conditioner that lists honey as one of the ingredients, though not that far up the ingredient list. How sensitive is the coloring to honey and does this only apply the day one does the henna, or honey in general? I do have a DC that has honey as the top ingredient, so should I no longer use that at all if I want to not bleach out my henna over time?

    Hi, after completing the henna and indigo treatment (once hair is fully dry) what products should be used directly after to style hair and maintain moisture since you mentioned to stay away from oils/grease? I have type 4 hair. And need to know some recommended styling products as I typically would use oil based products.

    My hair seems to get darker after a week or so after dying even without washing with henna is there a way to stop that and keep it exactly where it is right after dying? I love how it looks right before it settles. Also i use ginger red so I'm not sure if that's just a hard color to keep still? Thank you!

    That is because the Henna oxidizes after a few days, so the initial color is not the final color. You can try adding cassia or camomile tea to make it a bit more vibrant copper

    Hey, so if the henna oxidizes when is best time to add indigo to the hair. I find that after a henna treatment and then applying indigo can be drying to hair. How can I overcome that. Also how often should we shampoo hair?

  • @HennaSooq

    @HennaSooq

    8 ай бұрын

    Hello. Please make sure to do indigo within 72 hours of henna application (right after or next day included). Indigo does not always work the first time and repeated application(s) may be necessary. You may add aloe vera to your mixture to give moisture: hennasooq.com/products/organic-aloe-vera-powder. All of our hair washes, and shampoo bars are color-safe with the exception of our Soapnut ones as they are clarifying and should be used before coloring: hennasooq.com/collections/natural-shampoo. we hope this helps!

    @@anab4359Cassia is the best option for copper results unfortunately...Some folks recommended mixing tumeric and henna but I haven't personally tried it. Also try using chamomile tea as a liquid.
