This was an excellent video. Clothing care is something that falls to the wayside for most people. I wash my camo clothing in Fells-Naptha. Used this stuff for years. Love it. It is also a good degreaser too. I have spot treated clothing over the years with baking soda and/or Borax. But I will NOT wash clothing with those, unless it is my shop clothing covered in grease, oil, sweat and heavy mud/dirt. Thanks for this. People, you care for your equipment and gear. Put forth a bit more focus on clothing care. I have standard cotton t-shirts that are over 15 years old. Common sense is all you need. Again, thank you gentleman for this video!!!

@@ufprogear It's important that the clothes you take to the shooting house, combat, explosives training are not washed with your kid's clothes at home (or even in the same washing machine), cause they have a lot of toxic lead, arsenic, and other quemical products that are carcinogenic

As someone once said to me: take care of your gear and it will take care of you. Same goes for uniform as it does for weapons & equipment.

When I wash my uniform I fallow the tag religiously now and mine look great this is a awesome video

trying to get my BELOVED USMC to properly care for combat uniforms in the field was impossiable when the BN MD DOCUMENTED NOT ENOUGH DRINKING WATER but CO enforced mandatory shaves daily. despite documentation back to civil war on need to care for uniforms. yes mission is first but all kit requires care. like not issuing proper sewing kits. always amazed at how REMF and generals always had fresh, clean, new uniforms and my team commander (REMF) could never even get us socks or skivies

Remfs will be remfs. I usedto change socis on every stop and hand the dirt ones on the backpack. Every water course ended soaking all my hanging socks (no detergents but at lest a good old rub and so and natural climate managed to dry them on the go). Yes, I will be the weirdo, but my feet will not fail me.

My crye combat pants keep fuzzing out and ruining themselves. UF pro will be next pair I get.

When I worked as a chef, I would always set the colors of clothing by adding a cup of vinegar to the first wash. Can I do this with my next set of pants? Will it affect UV?

Lol. I'm here hella early too. Btw I wanna buy some of those Stryker pants lol. They look cool, built in knee pads are my interest. Bc of work. Pads are great for mobility. But the straps from a actual pad can be restricting lol. I'd like to see how they fit

Most normal laundry detergents contain fragrances and optical brighteners. Not so good for tactical use.

I call bs.. I followed the washing instructions and my pants faded after the first wash. Ridiculous how $300 pants got ruined after a single wash, while $30 pants held up for years of washing. I am not a happy customer.
