Thanks, I've always had problems with my football court.

I wanted an in-depth doc on real grass surfaces, the types of grasses, the way it’s maintained, nourished, and cut, and maybe even the different styles of mowing and how and how often they paint the surface with boundaries, boxes, etc.

This is very bad for environment. Tens of tons of the tire rubber end up in the nature from each of these pitches every year. A good business for some big companies, but very damaging for the environment.

Natural grass is indeed better but they’re also very expensive to maintain. The best grass turf you see played on club stadiums in Europe are replaced every year. Artificial turf is cheaper to maintain and the average lifespan before you replace the entire surface is 10 years. That’s why FIFA is actively promoting artificial turf as a viable alternative to developing nations and countries with extreme climates. Where growing natural grass can be a challenge.

so the big question In order to produce a good playing surface , do we all need to purchase so called "reputable" and expensive machinery or is there just a slight chance that a company with not such a large budget can also produce a simple & effective piece of kit that looks to simple to be any good. BUT actually works well and wont bankrupt a club. ahh No, if you use anything that's not "reputable" and expensive and that's not in cahoots with the manufacturer you WILL invalidate your warranty. circle of trust eh.......

Anoop B turf fields are used only in the US and there are barely any in europe to begin with. 90% of the fields in europe that common clubs llay on are real ground soccer fields.

Because it cost a lot of money. It depends on the budget of the construction cost. There are also a lot of artificial turf which used green rubber or EPDM and officially approved by Fifa.

The artificial turf that’s made mimic to look of grass is plastic. The infill material used to mimic the feel of soil are rubber pellets.
