Great Guide! Just curious, why are you listing Volatile Concoction Belt as BiS when we are already getting 1% hit off the tier boots? Surely the AB belt is better with 2 more SP and 4 INT.

appreciate it! Honestly because they didn't really add any new runes that are effective for mage healing , it's basically exactly the same in ST and phase 3 as it was in this video and gnomer. Kinda bummed about it tbh I hope they are taking a closer look at mage healer with the phase 4 changes and runes

Has anything changed now when Living Flame CD is only 30 secs?

Thanks for the video! Does burnout affect temporal heals ability to Crit? When it does Crit, does that cause the 1% extra man hit?

Yes the temporal beacon heals should have the same crit chance as your spell crit so any crit including burnout should count, it just seems to roll independently of the dmg crit roll. Honestly not sure about the mana consumption thing that is interesting point lol I hope not, good thinkin tho I'll have to see if I can notice

Do you macro your single target regen when u batch it? Or just click on tank and then click on boss?

Living flame has the same damage in healing values however with its cooldown and duration shortened You can get More casts of living flame off in a single fight And if missile barrage doesn't activate during four stacks of blast, you'll hit regen or mass regen, living flame then go back to blasting

Where could I find a good bis list for mage heal? I just got the defibrillating staff from gnomer but not exactly sure if it's my bis or not lol. Awesome video!!

thx for this guide. Why on bis list you don't talk about green item full arcan power. I have a cloak and bracers with +14 arcane power also shoulder +20arcan power but no other stats on sixteenupgrade seems to best than blue items. What do you think about this green items ?

Any chance to have a phase 4 update ?

yoo homie I've been havin a hard time gettin back into P4 tbh, if I start playin again I'll make an updated one but playin supervive playtest atm and then probs gonna try to do a couple diablo builds for S5 on the 6th but after that I might give p4 a try again. The 3 month break just killed me and I was bummed they decided to go normal 60 progression with MC instead of introducing a new raid like every other phase

when the p3 version :D?

Hm your talents confuse me, I guess for a general arcane build it makes sense like open world, but pushback on arcane missiles seems like such a waste, especially with the faster cast rune 🤔🤔🤔

You really shouldn't need to ever do mass regen, you can do more dps and more healing with just tank healing boss as your other heals does aoe healing. The dps gain not only let's you do near top dps or near 2nd to 3rd but a bit more healing due to the extra damage you did. After my second run in Gnomeran I told my priest heal to aoe heal and I just tank heal and focus on dps over heals, Long as no one dies from normal mechanics then you are doing a good job depending on your dps parse. If your team fails at a mechanic just point it out and find a way to work around it. Bilfiz is my main on Wild Growth. Even mage discord will meation if you ask that healer mages are to aim to parse by their dps and not hps. Heal parses don't really matter as best way to parse a healer is to have people take more damage then they should so less skilled teams have some of the highest parses for their healers. not saying your video isn't good by the way but this is the most useful way to play mage healing atm, yeah you can play other ways but its no different then taking a frost mage over a fire mage. The benefit of taking a mage healer atm is to use of their dps and if my healer can handle aoe healing then most should be able to since I don't think my heal partner is that good. I can easily do around top dps and top heals both at once. yeah the easy fights can be solo healed but I just tank heal just incase shit hits the fan and to parse under my spec vs Arcane. Also AM is a good spell in raid and worth putting 2 points in, It helps your other healer since Beacon heals don't benefit from the +healing on it though really only use it on your tank. So yes I take the 5 points into Arcane missiles for no knock back which yeah no good for raid but you can get away with it, I see no reason not to as of yet but as for Magic Absorbtion its a waste as I've tried it out and logs show its rare that I got much mana from it and when I did it was only maybe 200 or less per a fight if it went off. You can throw a point into Magic Absorbtion to reach Arcane power which is a good wasted point IMO or in the aoe talent but only good for trash so I would go with Magic Absorbtion x 1 or extra hit if you need it.

Forget everything in this video. Chronostatic preservation You are the healer, not the dps. And no, you don't need to play a priest.Just to get all their tools. you can switch targets with chronostatic preservation. You can't do that with any other healer.

Spellpower is better in most cases. Also more crits = more healing. More damage = boss dies faster = less healing needed.
