Always appreciate your content. I am trying to get going myself out of an old square body S10, and been kinda rough being low on funds. All the more inspiration to speed it up. Currently just soaking in as much info and knowledge of equipment.

Needed this one today, Mike. I’ve been debating on getting a CRM other than QuickBooks for months. I’m gonna do it tonight. Thank you sir! Looking forward to the podcast with Joe Deery!

Wow, not missing that. Two legends at the same time 🥳
2 questions for you Mike. 1. Do you ever draw up contracts with your residential customers saying that you’ll come every year or semi-annually to do a house wash or any other service or do you just do a good job and hope they call you back next time? 2. I’m only in my second year of business, about 10k revenue per month and only work in the summer. Is a CRM worth it? I’m just using the free version of Quote IQ right now.

Thank you. Isaac. 1. I never think to bring up the subject, but if they do, I’m glad to add them to the schedule. Joe Deery chooses to call it an “Annual Agreement”. I do however send out a mass text every February. This reminds them of my services. This results in 30-40 washes each year from previous customers. 2. I absolutely feel that a CRM is not only worth it, but absolutely essential. Where else can you hire someone to schedule, keep regular contact, bill clients, send mass texts, run estimates, request Google Reviews, send out mass texts, etc… for $50 a month. I use Markate. I pay for the whole year up-front and get one month free. I wash from March to December.
Love your perception on these things! CRM is my next/missing piece I need. Still gotta get better with google reviews, been asking, sending link but not much penetration. If you can try to read between the lines in these vids (I’m trying) there’s a ton of info in there! Cheers!!!

Hey Mike, another great video. When your spraying a hotter mix like this are you watering down the trees and shrubs around more than once? Or just a wet down before and rinse after? How often are plants or flowers getting burned from the SH?
@TheFreshRinse

How is it free, when you working for it. We call it bartering, but still, it’s not for free. If you did a job for free, it’s still not free, as you just bartered with the self or the lord 😬

I like that! Well, I got paid for the work I did… but the customer paid for the CRM through the tip they gave me through the CRM. I’m attributing the tip from the ease that the CRM created.
