I had issues with my bullets not firing .I think its because i didnt push back on bullet to mag so the tip of bullet favored the front of mag and not back so keep that in mind.

Shooting an AR-15 is simple as fuck too but that doesn't mean if u never had one or saw one that you would automatically know how to use it perfectly everyone has to start without knowing anything including u and even loading a magazine u can fuck up if it's your first time so instead of being a dick to people new to the 2A community just keep it to urself

Mine is a peloton can you load some bullets and a pellet gun?

Any suggestions for a bullet getting jammed when the charging handle comes forward?

you can try two things: 1. Recharge the chamber (pull the handle back and release) 2. push the forward assist forward, this will cause the bolt to fully close (forward assist is found on the right side of the firearm, its the the part that sticks out with a circular button at the end)

Need help or suggestions on how to improve the mag feed into lower. One will lock while 2 others refuse to lock in

2 methods. Some people only put 29 rounds in a 30 round magazine. Less pressure and the mag will lock in easily. Second method, and my preferred method. Always have the bolt locked back when you feed a full mag. I always go 30 rounds. Bolt locked back. Mag in, release the bcg.

Which AR is this? I am thinking of getting one, this one looks pretty good to me.

@DuncanMeter I am lil confused on rounds and mags. I have a colt ar-15 chambered for 5.56 nato and.223 remington. So does that mean I can shoot either the 5.56 round and the .223 round ok? And do I need seperate magazines for each caliber? Appreciate your feedback...thanks

If you have a rifle chambered in 5.56 then the rifle can shoot both 5.56 and .223 remington safely. If you had a rifle chambered in .223 remington then it would only be able to fire .223 remington with 5.56 being dangerous to use in that rifle due to higher pressures caused by 5.56. If you had a rifle chambered in .223 Wylde you can shoot both .223 and 5.56 safely. It is very important to make SURE your rifle can handle full power 5.56 ammo before firing it. The barrel should have the chambering engraved on it somewhere, mine have it towards the front of the barrel near the gas block. If you bought the rifle new there will be literature that comes with it specifying it and you can also look up your exact rifle/barrel as well to find out. Bottom line, if you bought a Colt and you know its chambered in 5.56 you are good to go with either ammo type.

@RikkiTikkiTavi290 I looked my colt up on yhe website by my serial # and it says this; M4 Carbine, 5.56MM, 16" Barrel, Semi Auto, Black Finish. I didnt see it on the barrel but right above the magwell it is stamped m4 carbine 5.56MM and serial #. I called colts customer service and they said since it is stamped 5.56mm on the magwell it can shoot 5.56mm and .223 rems. So I believe I am ok.

who the hell would need to look up on you tube how to load a rifle magazine.??? 99.9% of people who own military style guns probably and should have yrs of experience with guns in general and these things are generally learned on the range with experienced marksman, collectors, smiths, hunters. Even though I never got "the bug" to own or shoot guns, my dad was a collector, hunter, competition trap and skeet shooter and as a kid I learned about gun safety, loading, carrying, cleaning and storage when he brought me to the range were I would usually target practice with a .22 rifle or revolver. Never would I imagine looking up loading a gun and then what shoot it in your front yard to see if you got it wright. If your starting out and a beginner be at and around experienced people at, gun shows, gun stores and gun ranges. Not at the gravel pit with your new AR -15 drinking beers on the tailgate with your buddy.

I purchased my very first AR 15 this afternoon. I'm 70/yo., been around firearms my whole life; taught hunter safety for 25 years. Why did I wait so long ? I was predominately into Sporting Rifles. Semi-Automatic firearms are basically illegal here except for shotguns. My dad passed away when I was 21, none of my friends own AR's; N0 help there. I've always admired the AR platform, but never shot one I'm a trail blazer I guess. You may have been more fortunate than some other viewers on here., this maybe second nature to you ! Please try to be more courteous to the poster and his followers.

So you don't own guns but like talking down to people trying to learn more for their own purposes? Pretty weird bud. Being such an experienced non- gun owner you must know the inner workings of every part of an AR-15 right? Think hard about what you're saying.

Read your manuals, if don't have enough sense to read the booklet in the box that tells u all this information, then u probably shouldn't own s gun

@DuncanMeter It looks like it won't do it with 10 rounds. I will though with 9. Not sure if this is a flaw either in the magazine or the firearm itself. It's. Daniel Defense so I imagine it's not that.

@@ralphfrasca4168 Yea... kinda. I just jam it in there. It's a little easier if you load the magazine with 1 less round than it can hold in total.
