.
these are some of the things i did when i first started living in my truck. wrote out a packing list, planned where i would store my gear, and set up a sleeping spot among other things.
i read a lot of blog posts and watched some youtube videos of other people who lived in their cars, so i hope this'll help anyone who's about to move in to their car/truck/van for the first time! let me know if you're about to make the move :-)

My gf and I broke up. Really really rough break up. Now I’m living in my car and I owe her money for the last month of rent and the $1,400 to end the lease early. I was out of work when this went down but now I’m gonna be getting paid good at a warehouse with 24 hour parking. I honestly might just keep doing this as long as I can. $1,200 a year for car insurance beats $1,200 a month for an apartment.

Thank you, great video. I have decided to give notice where I'm living and to live in my car so this was really helpful. I stayed in my car last weekend after being fed up with having to drive back to the same location every day lol. My work is moving and I'll have to move closer but the rent is unaffordable even to live with others which I can't do because I'm so allergic to fragrances and chemicals and are common in every house. So after realizing that I can live by myself, save for a larger vehicle, be close to work, and wake up wherever I want, it's all I can think about!

Dad is moody and strict, sister sides with him, and I need a place of my own. My job isn't the best work money wise but I love my job. I couldn't imagine a more enjoyable one honestly. I do know what kind of car to get now (thanks to this video)! But do you know any four door sedans slightly longer and bigger inside? I'm 6 foot tall and I doubt the Cavalier would fit me even with the trick you showed me. Please let me know, and hope you're having a good day or night, whatever time it is!

Hi, just wanted to know which sedans have the lever that’s pulls down the seats to make room. I was looking for something exactly like that since I don’t have the tools to pull the seats completely out of a car. Thanks!

The problem with alot of sedans is that the back seats when folded down aren't leveled. There is a gap between where the folded back seats starts and where the trunk is. What are are you using where it fold flat all the way through?

I just had my sleeping pad on it to cushion it up. My sedan wasn't completely flat, but it felt good enough for me. You may be able to stuff the gap with old towels/blankets

I thought about removing the passenger seat since I don't have anyone. It's such space, and a little bit of tint for your windows also, get a damn gun, it's like a condom, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Get a sleeping bag for those -20F nights. A (two, 2L) thermos would be cool too for waters in the middle of the night, also, fill the other one with hot water, then pour it in a jug when you need extra heat inside the sleeping bag. As for those late night poops, it's the gas station. Best of luck
