I definitely embrace the now called "quiet luxury" esthetics, it's restrained and timeless. I thank my parents for never allowing me to wear logos; I honestly don't want to be someone's free advertisement and I don't need the world to know what I'm wearing either. Simplicity can be elegant! Thank you Nina!

OMG I couldn’t agree more Succession set designs were extraordinarily stylish, classy, and elegant. Quite understated luxury. I noticed a few set designs incorporated modern elements that were very cool. I agree that neutrals are sophisticated and can be calming too. 💕

Nina I’m glad you decided to wear YOU I love every item of clothing you wear classic elegant and chic and that aesthetic comes through in your design as well. I always found owning clothes that are loudly branded is restrictive on getting your wear out of them whereas unbranded clothes can be mixed and matched at will. I didn’t know at the time it’s quiet luxury I just know I prefer a more subtle look and it’s practical this goes for my home. No patterns florals except pillows. It’s boring but timeless. Great video

So glad they are FINALLY doing away with labels on clothes, accessories such as purses, etc. I kind of woke up to the label phenomenon as far back as the 1980s when I decided I was sick of looking like a walking billboard for some company. It was actually difficult to find nice accessories without some label stamped all over them. The exception to this rule (for me) is Liz Claiborne because my name is Liz so if I find anything with “Liz” on it, I buy it 😃. Patterns have always been an issue unfortunately. Nothing will date clothes or furniture faster than a pattern. I can’t tell you how many nice clothes I had to donate or furniture I had to reupholster because it had some dated pattern on it. It gets very expensive. So I have learned to wear clothes and upholster with solids but accessorize with patterns and “wild” colors.

Apparently I’ve implemented a lot of the quiet luxury aesthetic in my home. My inspiration however, was mid century modernism, minimalism, and wabi sabi

Great video. But color is fun vibrant and youthful. Although I tend to be a classic on my style n home. There’s nothing wrong with color or print. People be who you want to be! THATS luxury

Quiet luxury isn’t so quiet anymore, I often see videos on IG or here in KZread of people making “quiet luxury outfits” with random Zara, Mango and even SHEIN clothing.
