The banter lately has been hilarious. Especially in this episode Adam and Justin calling Sal out for basically being Timone from Lion King 😂 I also feel like Justin talks the least out of the three and most of the time when he says something I’m either crying laughing or it’s super resonant with me.

Fast forward to a few months ago when I thought I’d give Mind Pump a second chance. Holy Hannah, am I ever glad I did! Once I have gone to Barefoot shoes like five fingers or Merrell vapor glove the shin splint problem disappeared. The first time a ran barefoot the tibialis muscle was painfully soar. It was the first time in my whole life I felt that muscle. Never soar again, strengthened, problem solved. Continued barefoot to this day. Toe power !

Two of the best grip exercises I can think of are the farmer's carries/walks and dead hangs, especially when adding weight. Of course, you could go old school and bucket some rice or sand and squeeze it.

Thanks for another entertaining and informative episode. Today on my birthday, I'm enjoying watching, rather than just listening, as I'm laid low with Covid. Whilst my main concern is losing all the gains I've made in the last few months, you've given me a timely message to listen to my body signals during recovery and not push too hard too soon.

Generally when I am off my game the first sign is my knee soreness. As I guy who played alot of basketball and did alot of high intensity workouts,, my knees let me know as soon as I hit the stairs. Thanks for this episode. The tibialis raises also work well with a band around the toe and the foot and pulling back. Thanks for putting out dope, thoughtful content beyond the gym.

I knew I need it to strength and got motivated listening to you guys And after a few weeks of anabolic I already lost that pain. Thanks so much. Currently been on maps performance. To be honest In the beginning I wasn’t sold on it. By looking thru the program I was afraid there’s not enough heavy stimulus and that would cause some muscle loss. But I’m glad that I got over my fear. I enjoy the workouts (currently in phase 3) but even more I like the mobility drills. They helped me see what’s causing my slight right knee pain when squatting (it’s my hip) and help me with my right shoulder pain. Still working on my hip mobility but I’ve noticed my squats are deeper than before. Thanks guys for your work in making these programs.

My kids love standing on my toes while I’m seated and I lift them with tibialis raises. I have found that as they grow larger it is great for slow progressive overload. Haven’t had shin splints in years due to this and have found a great connection to my tibialis muscle where I can flex it substantially.

Doesn’t matter. But find what works for you. I enjoy the 4-5 meals spread out if possible when I can control everything. But then when “weekends” happen I can just back off two meals etc. Personally I hated IF. Binge eating was too easy and training time was too strict. Caloric restriction improves all heath markers regardless of time of eating

14 years ago, I had a high ankle tib/fib compound fracture playing football. I spent 6 months crutches. I still have a rod in my tibia. I was 17 when this happened. For the last 14 years I have been unable to sprint, jump intensively, or really do anything dynamic. Now my son is three years old and it breaks my heart when he wants me to run with him or chase him but I can’t. My pain in the shin comes entirely from front interior part of my shin. What can I do to keep up with my boy? Other than that injury I am in good shape for my age and don’t look anything like a dad that can’t go balls to the wall with his boy. I want that more than anything
