UPDATE: The reason why the connecting to Window Edge on my PC was because I needed to download the same Windows Edge app on my iPhone and sign in which this video failed to disclose. Despite those efforts, it still does NOT work for the iPhone. Why? Because you cannot download the "Your Phone Companion" app to an iPhone. So it seems that many other people here cannot set this up with an iPhone device like myself. It keeps trying to connect at 60% but fails to do so. What a disappointment.

If microsoft want us to link our phones to our PCs they would scarcely make it so damn difficult to do so.

am stuck on the first page itself on my galaxy a50 (it is in the supported devices list), no matter what i do i cant login, i tried logging in with the default id which i never used, tapping on log in with a different account as well as the QR code option but all it showed was 'login failed', ( i tried installing force stopping as well as clearing data of both apps, uninstalled the your phone app to its default version without update as its inbuilt, and then updated it once by google play store and once by galaxy store. I contacted samsung as well but to no avail)

does it work for iOs mine is windows 11 it doesnt show the option for windows 11

On my Lenovo ideapad 3 laptop it doesn’t give me the option to select iPhone when linking only anfroid

Well, click 'send notification' and it'll send a request to your phone, where you need to select 'allow'. Ur phone will then connect to you pc

Using Feem to transfer data from Android to PC or laptop is straightforward. Set Android as a mobile hotspot in Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & tethering. Then connect your Windows computer to this network. Launch Feem on Android and on Windows too. You'll notice that both devices are given unusual names by the app (e.g. Junior Raccoon) and a password. Keep a note of the password, as you'll need it to establish the initial connection. Send a file from Android to Windows using Wi-Fi Direct, choose the destination device, and tap Send File. Browse for the file or files, then tap Send.

This looks like Andriod not ios. Can you do the same on ios? I was looking at "your phone" app on Microsoft website and when clicking ios device it looks like it doesn't come with any of the text/call functionality. Just a way to use Microsoft apps like excel and powerpoint. Am I wrong?

Connect iOS Device To Windows 10 On your Windows 10 PC, open Settings app. Click on the Phone option. Now, to connect your Android or iOS device to Windows 10, you can start by clicking Add a phone. Make sure both your PC and phone have an active internet connection. On the new window that appears, choose your country code and fill in your mobile number. Click Send to receive the text message on your phone. Download the Android app called Microsoft Apps using the link in the SMS. It’s required when you want to link Android phone to Windows 10 and use the Continue on PC feature. You don’t need that app to link iPhone to Windows 10. Update: Now, the SMS contains a link to install the Microsoft Launcher app. On iOS, it installs Microsoft Edge browser. After you sign-in the Microsoft Launcher or Edge, your device will appear in Windows 10’s Phone section. Once done, you can use the new ‘Continue on PC’ button in the Cortana and Edge browser. For any news story you read, you can send it to your PC by tapping that button. The linking is only a one-time process. However, if some issue occurs, you can delete the app and follow the steps again.
