October 2nd 2021, there was a prompt asking if this was primary or secondary controller... when did we get that? Can we fly this baby with 2 RCs now? I only have one RC so I can't try it out.

Hi, you can use the regular Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 controller (without monitor) to connect the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. Other model controllers are not compatible with Phantom 4 Pro V2.0

I have a 4-pro RC, that I want to link to the 4-proV2, but it won't work. Can I replace the 4-proV2(built in screen) to a 4-proV2(no screen)?

Hi Sean, Phantom 4 Pro's RC will not work with Phantom 4 Pro v2.0, as they use different transmission system (Lightbridge and Ocusync). It doesn't support changing the RC from a built-in screen to a none screen version. May we know if there is anything we can help you with? Hi all, cannot get this RC to go into link mode. Steady red. Have tried both through the fly app as well as the keybind combo and no joy. Have reset the aircraft to factory settings as well as refreshed and updated firmware. Still left with Disconnected and red N/A for aircraft battery temp and a Red Gimbal Disconnected on the device screen. Not sure what else I can do at this point? DJI support - any thoughts?

Yes, if you have a Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 controller, the RC without built-in screen, you can connect it with the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 drone.

Is it possible to link a phantom 3 pro RC to phantom 4 pro aircraft?

agoCan i link phantom 4 pro + remote controller (GL300E) to phantom 4 pro v1 that doesn't have the built-in display screen? I've tried and was able to get it to connect 1x but it was not displaying video.

Please make sure that the firmware of the drone and controller are updated to the latest firmware. If the controller LED light becomes green after linking, but the screen is black, you can try to reset the camera settings and see if this works. Besides, you can provide us with a screenshot of the controller display for further confirmation. You can keep us updated at www.dji.com/support.

as of todays date july 12/2022 the dji go app hasn't been working on anything android period? this has so so many people upset as well as myself my drone is now a bookend i have tried several tablets to no avail i now have one that has android 5.1 and it seems to work can this old tablet me still used i haven't taken my drone off the ground in almost 2 years (brand new) and now after hearing right on your website people having so so many problems with these just dropping out of the sky have a look it is there iam now scare of getting mine off the ground seeing my warranty will expire in january of 2023 so what should i do here thanks dji people are very upset as to why this problem has (NOT) been addressed please reply to your many customers and provide something i have a Samsung S20 and forget it it just pops up and crashes i have also tried the apk file on the site nothing now what?? thanks might as well sell it if there is no answers but maybe i should buy a autel drone they dont seem to have these issues and are quite the impressive drone not threatening you but you have to do something concrete here DJI and in a hurry you are all sold out of the phantom 4 v2 drones but no support or if there is its never your fault?? thanks

Hi Dave, may we know the current DJI GO 4 app you have installed to your phone? Please try to back up the needed files and flight record files in the app, remove the app from the phone, and download the latest version from www.dji.com/au/downloads/djiapp/dji-go-4 and try again. Please keep us updated on the result.

Hi Ashok, Phantom 4 Pro V2.0's RC is not compatible with Phantom 4 Pro, as Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 uses Ocusync 2.0 while Phantom 4 Pro applies Lightbridge. Thank you.

Please double check the IMU, compass and GPS and make the calibration, then update to the latest firmware. If the issue persists, may we verify if the drone was ever crashed or included any hard landing?

HelloI used the linking method C1+C2+record button : blue bip on the remote control, then I tape the linking button on the drone : then blue becomes green. All seems ok but DJ Go 4 continues to tell me RC/drone are disconnected.I tried many times in vain... Please help !

After the linking, are the RC solid green? Will the aircraft keep blinking yellow? If not and RC is solid green, the RC links to the aircraft successfully. RC disconnected means the RC fails to connect the mobile phone, please re-plug the cable or try another cable.

Hello, thank you. RC and drone are solid green after pairing (but I did not see yellow blink during pairing). I'll try another cable, but it's the third... I'll let you know.

Thanks. I think I partially resolved the problem : it concerned USB : I had to open developper options on my Samsung Tab in order to set up USB port. Now the tab is connected with the RC.

Now screen shows "ready to fly - GPS" I still have no return from the camera on the tab screen, can't start motors, and even can't fly with the simulator; I think it still have to do with the usb, which is set up "mtp" instead of "ptp" : do you confirm ?
