    Can the sub frame kit be done without having done the 1.5 front/rear kits from the previous installation? My thinking could be wrong, but wouldn't that net you only a 1" gain but would leave drive train axles in their original position. Someone enlighten me.

I’m guessing clearance will be an issue so what’s the best solution for me to get some clearance? 1.5” lift and skid plate? Fyi, eibach now makes springs to replace the stock spring of the coil over/strut. Gives 1.3 inches in the front and 0.3 in the rear. Cheap and easy. Couple that with a small lift or larger tires and you got a nice modest lift.

    How does this affect the angle on the axle? Will it still be to “spec” to prevent unusual wear?

  • @hrg_tv

    @hrg_tv

    Жыл бұрын

    The truck in the video has been lifted for many years now, and so far has not had any issues. However, lifting any IFS vehicle will increase axle angles. It is a trade off to gain additional ground clearance under the engine. This increased angle will most definitely increase the wear on the axles.
