I lived in Ottawa for 12 years and Toronto for around 7. Ottawa is definitely more of a home, where as Toronto is really fun and loud but after a while I want to go home. I used to think Toronto was the best place on earth when I was in Ottawa, but I dunno, I like Ottawa better :)
Ottawa is place where you can make money but, Toronto, is a place for people who has money.
My fiancee lives in Ottawa. She works for the government, her mother too. Seems like everyone works for the government. I'm moving there in 2020. Cant wait!
lived in ottawa my whole life, as a young person i do not find it boring. a city is what you make of it

Hi, I really appreciate the efforts you put in to share relevant information with all. I do have a lot of questions to ask. Dropping a mail would help? Please let me know the id. Regarding this video, could you tell avg monthly expenses for each and temperature range during winters? Thanx

Thank you for your vedio, time and kindness. Would you advice me, what is the best sites to find a job in Toronto?
Thanks for the information, it might help me decide.
speaking about gym and fitness life.. where do u think the best fit life is ? ummmm is there in Ottawa 24/24h gym clubs (its the costs, nutrition and living costs, comparing that with sallaries and job timing...)
Hey hi!! I have been closely watching your channel to get as much information possible as i am planning to study in canada soon. However one thing i want to ask is that you mentioned about HUMBER college in Toronto, and i was very keen to get more info about it, can you tell me if its a good college to go in for my PG in Finance?
Thank you for all the great information, I really learned a lot from you. The one question that I have for you, is Ottawa a good city to move to for a finance college program? I only speak English, I'm 25 years old, and am really looking for a change in scenery. I live in Brantford, Ontario, and will be coming on my own to start an independent life.
Hi! We are going to Ottawa for 5 days for vacation at the end of June. Everyone is telling me 5 days there is too much. What would you recommend if we want to go to Toronto. Can we go by train and be back the same day? Thanks!
Did she say that Queen's is in Toronto? Like last time I checked it's way closer to Ottawa than Toronto

The cost of transit in Toronto is not as high as stated ; there are several other innacuracies - e.g that French is important in a job search in Toronto but that's not true and you rarely hear French spoken . unlike , say , Chinese .
@adamfrank8270
5 жыл бұрын
Umm I got my first job in Toronto after many weeks of searching because I could write correctly in French and translate between the two. Every big company in Canada needs at least some francophone employees if only for the web site and the customer service and since most head offices are in Toronto the girl is right about French but the Anglophone mentality for the last few hundred years has always been to try to pretend French doesn't exist and hopefully it will just go away but sorry it won't my friend. People do speak many other languages including Chinese and that's great but everyone has to learn either English or French and it's definitely better to know both. I would be out of a job personally if I didn't and I was born in Toronto.

@@adamfrank8270 I like and hate your comment. Youre both wrong. What she said was you will French if you lived in Ottawa if you planning on being employed at a government job. Its ignorant to say you cant get a job in Toronto or wouldnt have one if u didnt speak French. Thats such bullshiit. You just got a Job no one else could get or wanted because u spoke French. U sound lazy and got a job where your privilege ass gets paid to do NOTHING

@@adamfrank8270 Yeah French is a 'great' culture and it's the French who created Canada in the first place. Sadly, If you listen to Sheeba learning French seems to her not like an opportunity but an out-of-the-blue obstacle to be by-passed. She doesn't seem telling out her real feelings on the question.
Ottawa has great opportunities for outdoor activities like Nordic skiing. Skating cycling. Fishing. Toronto has better transit system. There is a lot of festivals in Ottawa but night life is not so exciting. But you can party across the river in Gatineau.

I would love to live in Montreal, the only problem is you have to learn to speak French in order to get a job. Also, I wouldn't be able to help my son with his school work as he would have to go to a French school. When I was visiting there I learned that in order for a child to go to an English school, the parents have to speak French. I love that they protect the French culture, I just wish it was a little easier to move there. It's such a beautiful part of our country, I wish it was just a little bit easier to make a life there.

Its because Ottawa isn't really a city, but people want to think it is. Its really just a small downtown surrounded by incorporated suburbs (Kanata, "Farhaven aka Barrhaven", "Borreleans" aka Orleans") So Ottawa is really just a suburb life and that has an effect on devlopment and what kind of people want to live here. Ottawa is really just meant for someone that wants a stable job (neither particular rich or poor) and raze a family. If your the ambitions type that can handle risks head to Toronto. But if your more the cautions reserved type Ottawa might be better for you. The only problem is Ottawa is getting worse and there is a perception it can't happen here in Ottawa mentality. Some people are waking up to it others still haven't.
Now Toronto is around 5M people and Ottawa is at 1.1M
