6 year old video is still absolutely perfect and what I needed to see to change my washers drain hose. Thank you! 💯
By far the BEST instructional video I have ever seen on KZread! There is no way I would have been able to figure this out on my own. And now it's done! Thanks a mil for this!
Saved my day!! My washer is back in action and I awarded myself the Domestic Goddess of the Day award!
Oh. My. God. I just had a brand new LG front load washer/dryer delivered today and assumed that the drain hose would connect to an outlet on the washer like every other single washer I have ever seen. When the integrated hose didn't reach my drain pipe, I came here to see how to connect the longer hose I already have, and learned that I have to take the entire washer apart if I want to use a different drain hose! This is RIDICULOUS!
THANK YOU!! Didn’t realize replacing the drain hose was so labor intensive. Following your tutorial to remove and install everything was an absolute God send. Much appreciated, kind sir!
Wow -- he's got this whole machine apart!! I thought he said it would be quick & easy!?
One of the best repair videos I've ever seen. Thank you.
best video for this repair. You saved me $300!
Nice and well detailed video, you guys deserve all the credit in what you work for. A technician (not from Appliance) came today but he didn't remove the front door of the washer. Instead, he almost got inside the machine from the back ahahaha ... removed the hose and did all the rest with his entire arm without watching. Thanks, guys.
😂 Only takes a few minutes 😂 This would take me all day and I would surely miss a screw or two. 🤣 Thanks anyway, at least I know it’s time to call the repair man. 👍 I agree with everyone, this is an excellent video on how to get into your washing machine and probably repair almost anything in this access area which is a large area of the machine. 👍
I don't understand why something that used to be a one step process is now a 32 step breakdown..... I hate this LG washer it has been my biggest appliance regret, nothing but problems. Good on you for having the patience though.
Thanks so much for this video, helped solve a big problem for me and my family.
That was the best video, clear and concise. Thank you! Fingers crossed that all drains well...
Thank you for the simple clear instructions! Reminds me of certain new cars where you have to drop the front bumper to replace a light bulb, though.... :D
Thank you so much for this! Seriously, I don't know why the drain hose is so much more difficult to replace than the supply hose which is like 30 seconds.
This is too complicated to replace a freaking hose...Thanks for the video though!
Yeah. It looks like an easy DIY job.
Although one must be careful, I put my unit on its side and accessed the inside clamp from the bottom of the unit. I did not remove the front panel or door.
Thanks ... good video, but i thought this job was going to be much easier .. a lot of work for a split plastic hose. And its do this or buy a new washer ...
I have to replace my hose because it was scraping along on the support shock. There was no clamp inside to hold up the hose. I am going to hang the hose with wire to a bracket near the top.
