I used to watch your show in tv before I bought my shitzu. I trained my dog from all your tips. My dog and I have great relationships. She is a great dog and very well trained. I only use body language and the sound “psst”. Thank you very much. You are an excellent dog whisperer! I haven’t seen anyone like you with all these skills and knowledge. I am a retiredPsychiatric nurse ,your knowledge & skills are related to behaviour therapy to human. Thank you again!

One thing I have come to learn is that spirit and energy is everything. Cesar is great for focusing on this so much because it is often overlooked. Trying to teach a dog something when you yourself are stressed does not work. Does not work on humans or any other animals either so that should be obvious, but still it is easy to forget.

Adopt a puppy from a shelter. There are millions of great dogs in shelters. Nothing wrong with them. Most people just abandoned them because they realised having a pet is just too much of a responsibility for them. Millions of dogs are euthanised in America because the shelters are overfull and they are killed because there is no more place for them. Please adopt a pet instead of buying one 🧡

@@Amanda-vl5ud I have had my little goof ball for like 6 months ago, he is really cute and I did adopt, no shop, but he was an AWESOME deal because I got him for pretty cheap, he was young, (I say was because again, this was 6 months ago but he’s still pretty young I guess) and a breed that you wouldn’t usually find in shelters he is a Bichon poo, and they are Pretty expensive as puppies so I got lucky finding one in a shelter where I got him for dirt cheap

Your dog has to associate something positive with the leash. I didn't use a collar for my lab unless she was going on a walk. She would lay her head on the leashed whenever she wanted to go out. She learned this on her own.

thank you for this video! i used the tips you gave on leash training for my 3 month old corgi puppy today and it worked like a charm. he actually happily accepts the leash and follows me out on his very first walk outside.

@@Witty-Waves you have to be the pack leader. Dogs don't bite pack leaders. And if u don't want it to become a bad habit u have to correct it right away

Trust me, I'm trying everything I can to make him not bite me, but the main reason could be his fracture in his front leg. Maybe he is frustrated idk.

@@Witty-Waves but u have to remember to be calm assertive yourself cause if you're tense unpatient or frustrated that energy transfers to your dog too. Most people quickly lose patience with dogs after several attempts. Everytime doggo tries to bite u correct with calm assertive energy and u need to find the method that's gonna work for you best
