Succulent information Care tips for succulents
1)SOIL- well draining ,porous,loose soil…non organic,a soil media that doesn’t retain moisture.
2)POT - smaller the pot better ideally 3-4 inches pot depth is good enough for a medium size succulent.
3)WATERING - only when the soil is bone dry however green coloured succulents like haworthia ,aloe mainTain slight Moisture but not soggy wet soil.
4)LIGHT - brightly coloured succulents provide direct morning sunlight for 5-6 hours post acclimation .Green coloured succulents like haworthia,strings of pearls or any string varieties indirect bright light.
5)Fertiliser - is not the top priority if you don’t use fertilisers it’s fine…but if you do go for liquid based fertiliser 1/2 the strength what’s mentioned on the bottle dilute in water ….and only feed the succulents that are in their growing period …never feed dormant succulents…never add too much fertiliser it will make the succulent weaker …during the growing period once a month or once in two month should be good ….wishing you all the luck

    Thank you LG! This video has come on right time. Few upper healthy leaves of my crassula ovata had fallen since I changed the potting mix and changed from its original place. I am going to follow how you have showed. But you dint water it? Making a well in the middle is really a good idea. Wanted to see the watering procedure.

    Amazing content. I have two questions. Is there a drainage hole? And you said water drops on mother leaf and rot it so while watering succulents i should not water their leaves??

    oh ...haha i tot your asking for orchids haha...try to avoid or you will have to separate each and grid them to make powder too much work cutting them in small pieces the it wont be uniform i mean the moisture

    Do you water them before they root?

  • @LushGardener

    @LushGardener

    11 ай бұрын

    no not even a drop of water ...the water is present in the leaves and we leave it as it is ...after the roots appear that's when we start to moisten the soil ..otherwise those roots will dry out ...this is where i kept them post separating them from mother plant kzread.info/dash/bejne/mYGhuaaOl7XgYZM.html

    Sir, do you have to wait for the soil to dry out and then moisten the soil with the hole in the center watering technique? I hope your doing great L. G and thank for all your videos which are a real blessing. 🙏

    thank you m doing well ,how about you ? no don’t let the soil dry out completely… let’s say when 90 percent soil is dry …very slight even moisture but not to much …but let’s stay even if the soil is completely dry it’s ok just keep in mind don’t keep it dry for very long like how we do it’s for adults …because these leaf propagation can’t handle dryness for very long especially the roots
